They don't allow anyone in Israel to play anything on Xbox or GFW Live, not just AoE. Couldn't tell you why, however.

Curious how you being german makes you especially offended about Israeli's being excluded from GFWL (Because that country simply isn't supported as are many others but you didn't seem to realize that yet when you said it)

What's more, their marketting seems to be almost completely targetting at the gaming community, with very little thought for stamp collecting enthusiasts! Fine if no-one else will say it then I will... They're Nazis! There, I've said it.

I know many people still see MS as evil but I think you are reading a little too much into it.
I can't play GFWL in my country either BTW. At least in theory, because my Live account is set to Mexico to bypass the restriction.

You know, I think pork is also antisemitic now, because you can't buy it in Israel.

(Actually you can, there even is a "King of Pork" in downtown Tel Aviv. I kid you not) Lovely country, I can highly recommend a visit.
