Tarnicus:
Awwww... I'll miss you. Not that we're close, but this place needs all the well intentioned ones it can get, and I consider you one.

Well, I'll be in for:

Divinity: Dragon Commander Imperial Edition
Eador: Genesis

Thanks!

EDIT: Ha! for mobile phone formatting. On with the show...

Excellent use of HHGTTG. If it's possible I'd be interested in Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura as I missed my chance at it in the recent Insomnia sale. (Avernum: The Complete Saga is on my Wishlist too)

Regardless best wishes and hopefully you'll find my satisfaction wherever else you hang out.

tinyE: You can stop kissing my ass now, I made it quite clear, NO MORE HAND JOBS!
would you consider a foot job ;-)
Sad to see you go Tarnicus.
I would be in for Deus Ex 2. If you leave then like half of the people who are sick of leeches grabbing all of the games for nothing will be gone. ;)

park_84: Too late, nobody has escaped from GOG forums...
Thanks for the masive giveaway, if no one else wants it I'm mainly interested in Aarklash: Legacy.
those that do... actually, i don't know.
Well, this sucks. I understand your decision, but I would like to urge you to stick around and explore aspects of the community other than gifting (have you tried mafia games? :D). I also want to say thank you for all your efforts to make this forum a better place. It might be too difficult a task at this point. Maybe the coming changes will help.
It's not like I don't know where to find you, but it's still sad to see you leave. You're one of the nicest people I've met here.

P.S. I didn't participate in the Insomnia sale thread (I was too busy staring at the bar in the frontpage), but, even knowing you, I was still amazed by the way you handled yourself in there, interacting with people and introducing new people to the community. You were a proper GOG Ambassador. I hope GOG takes note of this and takes steps in keeping people like you here.

Best of luck to you, wherever you go.

I'd like King of Dragon Pass or Driftmoon, thank you.
high rated
I only started posting in the forums during Spring Insomnia and I think the majority of my posts were in response to you, Tarnicus. I think I have an idea of what's prompted your decision so I won't ask you to reconsider leaving but I will ask you to please pop back and say hello every now and again. Also, you know where to find me outside of GOG! ;-)

I have to say that you have a very interesting giveaway list - almost exactly the same as mine apart from two or three titles! I checked the ones that I don't have and find myself wondering how the hell I missed Legend of Grimrock all THREE times round during Insomnia?! :-o

I'm not going to ask for any codes as I have plenty of games in my backlog courtesy of the recent sale (although Grimrock and King of Dragon Pass are definite future wishlist material!) I just want to wish you peace, health and happiness with your beautiful girlfriend and that beast of a moggy of yours! (I thought my 'Fatboy' (aka Shadow) was a big lad, but Behemoth makes him look like a kitten!)

Take care Tarnicus and keep smiling. :-)

Absolutely this. +1

This is ironic because somehow I passed on Legend of Grimrock too. I think it had to do with being a multi-player game, but looking back on it now, I like the puzzles and graphics and looks like a fun game to play with others.

I also wanted to tell Tarnicus that I appreciate you going out of your way to show support when I opened up about myself.
I would like S2: Silent Storm Gold Edition please.

It seems like you have made many friends here, if you have to go, it will be a loss.

LoboBlanco: Honestly I don´t know what´s the evil that´s brewing in the forums, maybe due to the threads I go to, that are always "drama free", or at least I try to not go into the ones that are bound to call that kind of behaviour (you usually can tell that from the title of it) but I haven´t seen such a wave of social unadaptation around. Namely I´ve seen such behaviour in very specific threads, with very specific themes.

F4LL0UT: Same here. Maybe I'm more selective when it comes to the threads I participate in now but honestly? To me it feels like things have calmed down a lot and that makes these departures appear insane, as if they were caused by the lack of drama. Maybe people are just trolling us? They tell us about terrible things happening here while they are just bored because they haven't been called cunts or retards in a while? (honestly, I observed more of these slurs in 2011 when I joined than I do now)

Oh, and let me add that it DRIVES ME NUTS that people don't say what's bothering them, they just post a "lately things suck here, I'm going" without any chance for anybody else to grasp what's happening or to improve things. In my opinion that's just unfair to everyone else. It's not leaving with dignity, it's being an a-hole towards everyone who does not understand what's wrong. I still like the forums and it sucks that someone is suggesting that I shouldn't but isn't telling me why.

Oh, and lemme add that TinyE was also about to leave the forums once when some things were bothering him but he actually SAID what's bothering him and people convinced him that it's no big deal - and he's still around, he seems happy and the GOG community has kept one of its most remarkable and hilarious members.

Also I just had a few beers so I'm not sure everything I wrote makes sense.
Sometimes people can be asses
I think i have been guilty of that on a few ocasions myself, maybe not towards TinyE, but others.
But its no wonder when you think how many cultures and opinions there are on this forum.
Will take ages before people fully understand each other.

Glad that TinyE stayed
Not in for this giveaway but + rep
sad to see a member go though, but sometimes its part of life.

Seriously, can we stop mentioning me, I'm not going anywhere and that was over a year ago. :P I'm flattered but I'd rather we try to convince Tarnicus to at least not be a stranger to the forum, it needs him just as it needs all of us.
