Sorry to see you go Tarnicus. I never had much direct contact with you but you were usually fairly insightful and well spoken in your posts, which even when in the dissenting population is a good thing to have in any community. I hope you find joy in whatever you are now pointing your efforts to.

It's sad to see people leaving this forum. The last weeks we witness the "retirement" of several forum members. Although, this is something that would cheer trolls & other idiots, I can understand why you leave. Unfortunately, that's the nature of this contraption called: Internet. The anonymity that the internet offers can, many times, cause much trouble. Just take a look at the increasing number of internet bullying victims. This forum is part of the internet, which means trolls and other creatures lurking around.

I hope this wave of members' early retirement will be averted by a better rep system & perhaps a strict moderating surveillance.
Again, sorry to see you leaving.

As for the giveaway, I would like either Sam & Max: Beyond Time & Space OR Evil Genius, if no one else gets it.

I cannot help thinking that the reason why people leaving are caused by a few members most active in one unnamed thread. It's sad that generosity of one in the end caused leaving of the other :(

Would love to give Age of Wonders a try. Refrained from buying it during the last sale, in an effort to restrain my spendings, as I was having a giveaway at the time and regretted it ever since.

But dont say never and give us from time to time still a hello here in the forums.
After several days and Nights a lot of people (including me) are now realising that there is still RL and like a cheese said: theres more then games.
Nonetheless in the right time fun and gaming is also part of our RL, if on a machine or just to do the hiding game with children or with the cat ;-) it remembers us that having fun is a significant part of our life - im pretty sure there is a spark of god in us when were laughing.

I understand how you feel by the way. I left 2 forums behind me, one was for 4 years and the other was for 3. I've made great friends with great conversations. But one by one I grew old from them. I get distant from people or the cause of forum, I'm not sure which one. If you feel you're stuck in a place that bothers you, it's best to leave I guess.

We never really had a conversation on these forums, but I have seen and am appreciative for all you have done for this community with your posts and giveaways. If you are truly leaving, I wish you all the best in the future, and I thank you for all that you have done during your time spent here. Take care, man.
