But if it eases your decision here´s a and then just another [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndN3QieDJ-U]one that exemplifies some of the thoughts below ( just forget it´s a commercial :P ).

And some people I regard as wise men said some things once that I think are relevant to these happenings:

"You must be the change you wish to see in the world."

"You must not lose faith in humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are dirty, the ocean does not become dirty."

"In the practice of tolerance, one's enemy is the best teacher."

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win."
I know I replied to you via PM about this reply, and I'd like to share a story that pertains to the first link in particular and a pattern that I have noticed in my own life, and a lesson that I seem to easily forget.

"So look up from your phone, shut down the display
Take in your surroundings, make the most of today
Just one real connection is all it can take
To show you the difference that being there can make"

[insert lengthy interruption called life mid-writing]

I'll be very brief given I'm feeling a bit glum after finding out an estimate of the costs of paying the full cost of getting 9 teeth removed in hospital. I found a pair of pliers the other day and that might be my solution.

The brief version of the story I wanted to tell is that this thread and thinking about my good friend Matt who I used to spar with regularly until I tore my abdominal muscles sparring(first time I ever bested him, albeit briefly in grappling) and he moved up the coast, seems to have summoned him back into my life.

I bumped into him randomly yesterday whilst in town and he has moved back to the mountains and we finally have each others contact details again :)

No the chronic illness dental scheme was axed. Dental is considered separate from other medical issues covered by Medicare in this country. I've written to a few people to help me navigate this path and find a solution and feel better for doing something other than feel glum about it :)

One of my current goals is to get back into yoga by doing a gentle form to start with. Given the cold mountains I live in, I generally do my stretching when I can remember in the shower, bath or sauna(last time I mentioned yoga to my dad he was doing Bikram yoga which is definitely something that interests me.

Many I have spoken to do not understand the peace and joy I get from such a "violent" activity, and I do not see it as violence. It is two consensual adults engaging in an activity that has a set of rules and is never trained at 100%, unlike violence(something I'd like to avoid more of this lifetime). I can "see" in every moment during sparring where I could damage my opponent, quite detrimentally, and having those safer full contact experiences on some level heal the powerlessness of the violence I experienced when I was younger and enable me to practise greater self control in preparation for possible confrontations. I'll tell a story later of where such training has really come in handy in diffusing potentially life threatening situations for myself and others :)

I prefer to train with those far stronger and more skilled than myself(the skill is the most important factor) as I feel safe in that environment and it is a wonderful release. My concern is not myself being injured but of letting go(like I did with the punching bag) and snapping and unleashing that which is within upon another, as I have done in the past. I'm not sure how others have felt in such situations, but afterwards I have felt horrid for some of the violence I have let out on other people.
It seems like I always kind of preferred solo pursuits in terms of sports. Track and field, rock climbing, yoga ... I tried Karate for a while, but it didn't stick with me, even though I find martial arts fascinating. I should try one again some time. I can't say how tranquil a more "violent" activity would leave me feeling, but I definitely see the catharsis it could provide others. Especially if you're doing the mental training and not simply the physical training.

I much prefer hot yoga to cold, even though it can be easier to slip out of poses sometimes. My muscles certainly thank me.

As for letting go, yes, concern for others is paramount, so holding back feels like the natural thing to do. It doesn't necessarily get you very far though. Taking out your frustrations is important, but it's also important never to take them out on another person. Or animal.

It's interesting to hear your perspective. Thanks for sharing.
Oral surgery funds acquired. I am blessed to have offers of help <3

I'll repost the list of the few codes I have left later today. I am pretty sure that I have lost some people's requests so feel free to ask again when I repost that list later today :)

Well offer still stands:) The most important thing that you will ever own or use is your body and you need to maintain it like an engine.

Grargar: Be honest, that was your cat right?
His typing skills have also been limited due to injury. "When it rains, it pours" seems to be the appropriate analogy for the health condition of our household. We just got back from taking him to the vet and he is on anti-biotics due to an infection from fighting. Maybe there is a lesson in here for me also, but I doubt I'll take heed of it until it smacks me in the face :D

He isn't very happy about being sentenced to indoor healing time but he'll just have to get used to it. The vet was surprised by his size and commented on his weight, which was 8.5kg, just shy of 19lbs!! Given that he has lost fat and put on muscle, I'm quite impressed. He was most likely sired by a feral cat and it shows in more ways than one.
I just edited my original post to reflect what codes(including a new one) are left.
Glad to hear good news about the operation :)
You should take a small vacation, a trip to the mountains or a nearby forest it may help in the future to make you feel stable.
I'd like Betrayal at Krondor.
First, glad to see some good news about you and that nice cat of yours. And, yeah, like i said before, more pics with him. He is a great looking cat after all:P

As for a choice, would love to try Legend of Grimrock.
