Well Tarnicus, I wish you the very best of luck on your travels.

I am sad to see that a very small group of people has achieved what stonefish, jack jumpers, taipan, box jellyfish, and cassowary could not. Nevertheless, I wish you a fond farewell, feel free to drop me a line anytime. Or, you know, feel free to come back to the forums anytime. That works too. :P

Tarnicus: Thank you all for the overwhelming response, both in this thread and via PM. I awoke to 33 new notifications(there's that number again!). I've only had a chance to read the PMs and not respond and haven't even had the chance to read past the first page of this thread as I've got to head out.
Let me guess. You haven't checked up on those 25 game notifications, right? :P

I don't want any of your games, but I would totally love to see you stay.

In my eyes this is still a great place (especially for a self-moderated forum) and we as a community have the power to protect it and make it even better. But if all the good people go away and leave the playground to the bullies, it will sooner or later turn to something bad.

As much as I like GOG giveaways, I really hate to see all of this "goodbye giveaways" that are lately spreading like mushrooms after the rain.
Tarnicus, I don't know what was the trigger for you decision, but I'll guess some forum member(s) behavior has provoked your moral principles. This is a public forum and as with everything on our planet that is public there will always be rotten apples that are just mean and want to see others burn. But I always say it's good to measure things, if at the end of measurement there are more positive things than negative, stick with it, it's worth it. That's my opinion about this community as well.
So, I really hope you and all the other cool peeps that BELONG to our lovely community will stay.

On another note, I think we as a community can make Tarnicus reconsider his decision if we do officially appoint him the GOG Sheriff. So that no one would be able to say anything like what they said in that cursed thread.

Every community needs a sheriff. Especially when there's a lot of free stuff lying around.

We still need to try out Rooks Keep online sometime.

I hadn't been frequenting the forums a lot lately because I've been pretty busy, but I have a bit more in the past week or so and noticed that the tone has changed a bit. I didn't feel like digging around to see what all has happened.

My only interest is "Divinity: Dragon Commander Imperial Edition". Thanks for the generosity.
