I like the Wii U. I like the controller and the fact that it'll do real 1080, which has been stated since news first came out about it, the Link non playable demo was running at 1080 if I remember corectly, I don't think the controller outputs at 1080 though.
Did they definately change from one supportable controller to 2?... I thought it was dumb that it was only going to have one screened controller, but I heard they said they try to make it 2 instead.
I owned a modded xbox but that's the only console I've ever had, I'm thinking about picking up a Wii U also, if the games justify it, I'll wait til a bit after release, I've never been an early adopter for anything.
Nroug7: No its not a myth - Consoles are strained enough as it is, Developers have mentioned in several interviews that they feel that they have reached a dead-end with console engine development for now and that they are already pushing most new games on consoles as hard as they can to get them on consoles.
And the 1080P is neccessary for me, My TV is rather large, so things can get noticable very quickly.
Even I know this and I don't take much on an interest in consoles.
PS3 and 360 do 'technically' support 1080, but it's pushing the hell out of the console and is only ever done on really simplified games, (either a simple engine or simple gameplay with not much happening on screen) and there's less than a handful of them out there, forget any of the big AAA's, they're all 720 upscales.
EDITED... misread.
