Anyway, I'm not complaining. In fact, I'm quite ecstatic :D Sending you my address now
It actually creates a seperate step, as you have to gift the games to your own email address, then fish the gift code out of that email and PM the person. Not a hassle if you're gifting a handful of games, but at this scale I'd probably go with the direct to email route as well.

The gift code shows up on the "Order Complete" page for easy copy-pasting. No need to look at the emails.

Actually, that's not true. When you buy a game and mark it as a gift, the gift code appears immediately on the confirmation screen. So there is no need to read the confirmation email to get the code.

I'm sure you're right. I've never gifted on GOG before. I'm probably not doing this the best possible way.

Next time, maybe. ^_^

I won H3 Chronicles by means of a slight mixup (I didn't actually name it), and AnonymousGiftBot generously offered me my choice of this game or either of the two I entered for. That's great for me, but unfortunate for those who entered for H3 Chronicles - so I'll sponsor one copy (or any other GoG, excluding Witcher2, if preferred).

If I didn't miss anyone (please notify me if I did), that would be Detlik, PenutBrittle, Silrog, RaggieRags, godspeed, Aningan, Hardrara, with the latter three having won already - so I hope they will be ok with not being included in the draw.
I'll let random.org decide tomorrow or at the weekend, and send the code on monday.

Just a heads up, since you say you're new to gifting on GOG. Make sure you purchase each gift individually, otherwise you end up with a single code with a number of games attached to it. This might be obvious, I don't know, but I burned myself on that some time back, so...
