Hey, I resemble that remark! ;) Well, I am conservative and from the Southern U.S. anyway. I usually vote Libertarian if I can though *shrug*.

Regardless, Obama is actually pretty weak at the moment. The Republicans just need a respectable candidate to run against him. Oh, right... how about ANY candidate... oh right... :( Yeah, we conservatives are still waiting for anyone in the GOP to formally step up to the plate at this point. Just a lot of hemming and hawing so far; I think they are waiting until after the Debt Ceiling debacle before making a play for it.

Calling someone is idiot because you dont agree with them is pretty ignorant. Imho, Bin laden didnt have the proper resources to pull off an attack of that magnitude.

I think there's a case to make that he was always a fanatic even while he was a rebel force. The Mujaheddin were seen as useful proxies for a battle with the Soviets at the time. That was obviously terribly short sighted in retrospect. As for why America keeps training and arming people who don't like it very much? Man, I wish I could tell you. It doesn't seem very smart, does it? Still, a separate issue from the one at hand.

I am getting a huge kick out of reading whiny liberal anti-america rhetoric today. My favorite was the one where someone called Osama a "harmless old man."

A mass murderer was killed, and thank God for that. Politics are completely irrelevant.

Yes, he was a mass murderer, yes, this is a symbolic win at most, yes, and it was pretty pathetic and idiotic to cheer and throw celebrations at someone's death, yes too.
