Wonder whether he really was killed yesterday. He is dead but the chance is that he was killed/died from other reasons some time ago and now it was made official.

Nobody had access to the body... They basically want us to take their word for it and believe that he died in that raid.

Well, the lack of evidence and the "hush hush" way in which it all happened is a different story. I don't see a reason to take anyones word for it.

The only reason why countries are interested in the Middle East is to protect interests in oil and other valuable mineral resources. This is the case with the Gulf War, Iraq, conflict in the 1960s...etc. It's a neverending powerplay over there and leadership in one country can affect other countries. E.g. if Saudi Arabia get concerned about neighbouring countries, then they'll let others know about it, because surrounding countries can pose potential threats to them.

If America/Britain didn't stick their noses into the Middle East, there would be no one to negotiate with to transport oil from over there. Also, mineral deposits of other valuable materials means the region has future potential to provide lots of materialsfor electronics, arms etc to developed/developing world. These are the realities, unfortunately.

You are being silly. There are many more important things than this thread to worry about. Comments in this thread should not have any impact whatsoever on your perception of the human race.

Furthermore:
If we are just animals by your definition then we can do no wrong. As animals are ruled not by morality but by laws of nature anything they do is right.

That's not true, by the way, animals too do things they know are wrong for them to do - not out of instinct, but out of decision. On more primitive level, sure, but that doesn't make it any less valid.

Animals do make wrong things. They make mistakes. But they don't do immoral things as whatever they do is just part of their nature.
So a chimp banging a alpha male's girl knows that he is doing a potentially dangerous thing. Yet it is not a morally wrong thing to do. He does what he does because it is his nature.

Same goes for bats who share their food with starving neighbor.

If one considers us, human race to be nothing but animals then that person should not worry about people being murdered, about someone saying that is good that some other animal died.
Anything a human does is then completely alright thing to do.

Seriously though, the USA created this bogeyman, (In many more ways than one) and now they've disposed of him, without trial.

It makes for good publicity, but nothing has changed, and at worst we'll see a very unpleasant reaction from some of the less civilized malcontents out there.

Also, we're going to need another bogeyman... Americans gotta be scared of someone, or the very fabric of their society and economy will disintegrate. Applicants line up on the left!

So, do we get born with morality or do we obtain it? I'd say the latter. It's just a glorified value ladder, and every creature with sufficient social interactions has one.

it is obtained. Obtained by watching history, analyzing mistakes, predicting how future develops, analyzing other feelings and placing yourself in others shoes.

No animal, whether dolphin, dog, chimp or raven do that. their decisions come from basic laws of nature.
They might reach our current level as we did once. Nevertheless it does not make argument about us being "just animals" correct one as it excuses anything bad we had ever done as well as anything good we did.

No metaphors at school? Sorry, losing patience here. What i've meant was, that despite all our knowledge, and all the effort we made, many of us, still don't seem "humanely". See, that's why i made the metaphor.

I used the comments here as an example. There was a bigger picture. Sorry if i didn't made it obviou.s. I'll use pictograms next time. Though i would've hoped that this place would be a tad different from the average. That's what i've meant.
