It's fairly up to date, although I do need to check a few things. But as far as DRM is concerned the information on that page is accurate.

That's only Japan-specific, which blows. (Unless you live in Japan, durr) Here's a comprehensive and colorful thread on the Steam forums (do not visit if allergic) that has a chockful o' information.
No, the DRM is worldwide dude =) The only parts of that which are Japan specific is the information on pricing and regional restrictions. Mainly because I don't have time to check all other regions.

I don't care for the DRM (it tells you on the game page), I just care about regional restrictions.
It doesn't always tell you on the game page dude. In fact Valve are known not to release that information until several days after the game is released. Besides, this thread is about DRM/SecuROM not regional restrictions =)
I'm pretty sure Assault on Dark Athena came with SecuRom, and I haven't been able to stream Netflix since. Any way I can disable it for a short time then reenable it when I want to play more Riddick?

Zhirek: I hope that the Streetfighter IV pc version has no extra bullshit installed on it.

Same..really looking forward to it. Though Capcom has a history of using DRM so I'm not counting on it. Will probably obtain via other means. :P

Paul_cz: The fact that those fuckers are now members of PC Gaming Alliance is amazing. What a fucking joke.

There is more than one way to look at that, though..for instance, if they were never allowed to join, they'd likely never change. The two bodies aren't completely dissimilar..I'm trying to be optimistic and hope they'll learn from each other, which is more or less what the PCGA has stated as their reason for letting them on.

I hate to say it, but I was really looking forward to stealing SFIV..

bansama: Who said it is without Securom? Steam version also has Securom.
No it doesn't. And I've personally checked that with my copy on a PC which has no SecuROM on it.
I've also never had any problems with SecuROM at all with any game that has included it.
thanks for catching my back, I don't know why but I guess rep really does mean nothing, hahahah!

Simply solution for the problem: buy the legitimate copy of a game if you want to support its creators, and then crack it to say bye bye to any sort of DRM crapware.... Oh, and use hijackthis (at least) to be sure to not to have any other SecuROM component loaded in the system (this kind of CP usually uses some non-standard service mechanism to hide itself within the system...)
Sony is pure evil. They practically "invented" the PC rootkits malicious market, by spreading them with their infamous XCP CD-Audio protection.....

You don't need hijack this to find SecuROM. And with most games, if you apply a slightly less than legal modification to the exe before you run the game, you will bypass the activation of SecuROM entirely.
If you want to uninstall SecuROM, it's actually a fairly easy process as detailed at the end of this:
http://bansama.com/b/spore/spore-gets-summoned-part-1/
The only files and registry entires you will have "difficulty" removing are directly linked to your activation keys. And that is the only reason the SecuROM uninstaller does not remove them. As they don't want you losing activations by accidentally deleting the information.
All the actual active parts of SecuROM, such as Paul.dll and so forth will be removed by the uninstaller (or can be deleted by yourself) once you have run the uninstaller without the need for third party software.
Thus, you can safely remove the active components of SecuROM and then leave the hidden files/registry entries alone (if you wish) as they will NOT harm your PC. And yes, I have tested this fairly extensively.
As far as I know, Bioshock 1.1 does not have a working crack. There is something from Detonation, I tested it, but it always crashes during loading. At least on my version.
BTW, any idea why those assholes named that file PAUL.DLL ?
In honor of Paul Rudd?

Pretty Awful Untrustworthiness Library, it has a list of all the worlds pirates & won't let you play if you're on it

If I remember correctly Riddick use TAGES and not Securom, you should try googling to see if others have similar issue with TAGER and Netflix.

That's correct: CoR:AoDA uses Tages and has only 3 allowed activations before requiring you to phone Atari and beg for more. This may actually be worse than SecuROM, due to this little tidbit from the Tages website about revocation tools:
"TAGES does not -and will not- provide this service"
