Preferably an iron sight mod.

It feels so weird using a M1 Garand and Kar98K without aiming down the sights.

I never installed a mod at all for any game, I mostly let my brother do, but I have never done it myself at all.

In my experience, each one is different. Your best bet is to just download the thing and hope it comes with documentation or is easy to use. Some of the better ones are packages in an install file.
