May I ask why this game doesn't show up in my games list automatically?
I mean like some other games that show up with a sign "2 days left".

This is not a Steam promo but from the publisher so Steam does not give automatic notification of it.

It's always like that with free games. You must be logged into steam platform and click install now in order to add it into your library. (you don't need to download/full install the game off course).

Maybe they don't want to give too many free copies away? :p Who knows... Maybe it's security thing to actually bind the game to your account....

Wow, those sure are a lot of hours so the multiplayer must be really fun as well then compared to the generic run and gun shooters.

To be honest I've not played the MP for this game. All the hours came from doing the game on each difficulty level (including DLC's) and finding all the bottles/gold bars.

That is actually even better because I am also not that interested in competitive multiplayer so its cool that the game has replay value. From what little I have seen of SE3 the dev mentioned that there are a lot of ways to do the missions in the campaign as well.:)

It should be there, try installing from the game's steam page and then check again or refresh your account by going offline and then online.

I'm on my Linux box at the moment so when I click play game, it tells me it's not available on my platform. I've already logged out and back in. Nothing.

Is this the sequel to Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945? The reviews of it here on GOG aren't that great, does this version have the problems mentioned in Red_Avatar review?

Not that it stopped me adding it (Sniper 2) to my library.

Common problem if you use beta client, it's a bug.
