Being somewhat of a heretic here, as these are not GOG games, but the next ones will be.

Anyway, giving away some steam games. All you need to do, is to say what game you want, why you want it and my wife will pick the winners in an undetermined timeframe (couple of days). All of these games are gifts, not keys.

The games are

Audiosurf
Nation Red
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Don't Starve

So, have fun?

(some may remember my attempts to get my wife into gaming, that failed horribly. Pointers are still welcomed, though, as I don't intend to give up that easily)

Thanks for the competition.

I'd like to enter for Don't Starve.

cute 2d characters, and "No instructions. No help. No hand holding" in a world "that hates you and wants you to die" ?? Sign me up !!
Thank you for this opportunity. I'll try for Nation Red: I watched a trailer of it and the game looks strikingly like another, older game: Crimsonland. Used to play that one like hell when it came out and it was really fun, so if Nation Red is much of the same, can't go wrong there.

Have you tried portal 2? I know a few guys who got their partners into PC gaming via Portal 2.
I'm in for Deus Ex: Human Revolution. I've heard and read only good thing about this game, that makes me want to try it some day :)

Thanks for your giveaway, and +1 for your generosity!

Also, if you want to play games with your wife, try games that you can play at the same time, a cooperative game, with less action and more "thinking". Like Portal 2 in cooperative mode with the robots. That mode is very funny and enjoyable ;)
not entering, just wanted say thanks +1 :)
+1

Audiosurf would be brilliant.

Did you try To The Moon with the wife?

Not in, but have you tried with the LoK games (particularly Soul Reaver 1 and 2)? Those have such huge production values(the music, the voice-acting, etc.) that it may convince her that games aren't just "for kids".
I'll take one Deus Ex: Human Revolution, please and thank you.

Audiosurf would be cool.

I think games that are more about story than gameplay are a good start for non-gamers.

Thanks for being a generous person and giving away games!
Right now my wife is playing Civilzation IV by my side. I asked her why she is not playing Beyond the Sword instead of vanilla Civ IV, and she seemed rather puzzled. I think this is the second time she plays this year. She only plays two games: Civ and the Sims.

I'd like to enter for Deus Ex. Never played that series. Maybe it's about time, right?

Thanks so much for the giveaway.
Or try her on something like Dear Esther.
Its all about the story, she might not even realise she's playing a game ;)

I would like Don't Starve. I have heard its interesting survival game with randomly generated world and that sounds super interesting.
Really interesting game choices. I'd like to enter for Don't Starve.
Nation Red

I love zombies , I watch movies and play games with zombies . Kind of morbid ?

Try to play some TBS games with your wife , like Heroes 3 on Hot Seat or some Pool games , maybe the competition will do the thing .

Thanks for the giveaway !
