Thanks a lot for the giveaway wolfsrain I know that I am not eligible for it and also I don't really want a game. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to respond to the topic of favorite anime. I got into anime because of Studio Ghibli movies and only got hooked on some series later on so I hope its alright if I post a list of some of my favorite anime movies in no particular order:

My Neighbor Totoro: I found this movie to be very refreshing after being raised on a steady diet of Disney movies throughout my childhood, the movie starts out with probably the most realistic depiction of how children of young age actually behave and play, later on adding whimsical and magical elements as well as creatures which made it a unique mix. A great story about children learning to cope with the harsh realities of life though one of the best fantasy forest creatures ever created i.e. Totoro. :)

Porco Rosso: A great amalgamation of history and fantasy, the period World War I setting feels really authentic despite the fact that the protagonist of the movie is a Pig. One of the truly great films of the master Miyazaki in my opinion and has some of the most spectacular dog fights I have seen in anime or otherwise.

Princess Mononoke: A fan favorite and many consider it to be the best film that Miyazaki has made, the movie depicts the age old conflict of man against nature and whether it is possible for them to coexist. It is brilliantly represented through a great fantasy setting filled with animal gods and nature spirits which are all wonderfully crafted creatures as well as beautifully animated. A must watch for any anime fan.

Kiki's Delivery Service: Long before Harry Potter there was this wonderful coming of age story about a young girl that just so happens to be a witch in training as well, the good kind as there are no evil witches in this story. A fantastic movie with a great story about how magic is not just something that you posses but are able to create by being good to others thereby gaining valuable life experience through the process.

Tokyo Godfathers: This movie demonstrates how diverse the anime medium can be because this could have easily been a live action movie based on the its realistic and film like approach. A warm and heartfelt story about an unlikely unit which along the way learns how family is not always the one you're born into but is really the set of people which you choose to make that bond with. One of the few amazing movies made by another visionary artist Satoshi Kon who unfortunately passed away to soon. Do watch this if you think all anime is just for kids like Pokemon.

While here is a list of series which are real favorites of mine and I won't elaborate on them as they are fairly well known, so in no particular order:

Great choices there. Seen every single one of them. I could probably add tons.

My first anime was Hi no Tori 2772: Ai no CosmoZone ( Space Firebird ). I was 7 when i saw it and was blown by how different was from my usual toons. Saw it a few times since. As a kid i've seen a lot of the very old anime series: Sindbad, Sandy Bell and many, many long forgotten. Great series for kids. But Hi no Tori: Firebird was special and was different, so it stuck and i still rewatch it from time to time.

My reconnection with anime happened via the first Ghost in the Shell. And since then, i always make my selections (january, april, july, october - busy months for the anime fans ).

I fully recommend to see the 6 Hi No Tori movies and the series ( 13 episodes ).

Also, seeing that there is no much interest, i'll add two exceptions from my rules: one is grunthos64 and the other is stg83. So if any of you wants one of the two remaining games, you are welcome.

I am actually quite selective when it comes to watching anime series as I only just recently watched arguably the most famous anime series in the world "Dragon Ball Z" and really enjoyed it a lot. The reason I was skeptical about watching it before was the excessive length of over 300 episodes or so but that was rectified with "Dragon Ball Z Kai" which adhered much closer to the manga by being a shorter edit, which I am also aware that it does not cover the final saga of the series. Yet still there are many other series that I haven't seen so thanks for the recommendation of "Hi No Tori" as it really looks quite interesting and I will definitely check it out if I am able to get a hold of it.

Furthermore, I really appreciate the exception to the giveaway rules but there isn't any particular game that I am really interested in like I mentioned before, but thanks a lot for the offer. :)
