It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Maighstir: I noticed now that it seems to work fine on HTTP, but bugs out on HTTPS (I have HTTPS Everywhere with a ruleset to always use the secure site on Pale Moon, but don't have anything similar set up for Opera).

I just edited my previous post to state the exact same thing. I can't comment on Opera as I don't have it on the system I'm on right now, but maybe it's worth checking if Opera is using a native setting to connect securely?

I mentioned Opera only because I used it to connect non-securely, it was quicker than disabling HTTPS Everywhere in PM.

How is that quicker? I've got HTTPS Everywhere sitting nicely on my add-ons bar, click on the drop-down arrow, uncheck GOG and I'm done. I'm actually switching it off and on- off for the home page and on for the forum :-)
