I Live!

I have no idea if I'd like these games now, but back in the day I was really into the Phantasie games & Wizard's Crown.

Thanks IAmSinistar for this giveaway.
I Live!

You are an inspiration, IAmSinistar! Thank you so much for everything you've done for the community, and for GOG. And thank you again for another great giveaway! :)

I'd like to see most of the old Psygnosis games come alive again whether in the shapes of updated versions or remakes. Agony would have been awesome!
I would love to see an updated version of "Wing Commander: Armada" and "Wing Commander: Academy". I would really really really love to play them again, but my personal "minimum requirements" are at least Wing Commander 3 graphics.

Flying just feels completely wrong in WC1, 2, Privateer and those two titles. There are enough alternatives to Privateer and WC 1 and 2, but for Academy and Armada... "Deathmatch" in space? Your own campaign (you decide what to do) to eliminate your enemy once and for all? I don't know any games that give you this. Yes, I know that Freespace 2 can do the "deathmatch in space" thing, but... not really the way you could do it in Academy.

Oh, before I forget: I don't live anymore, so I'm not really in.
I LIVE!

Umm... I don't really know... perhaps an updated prison break style game in the style of Escape From Colditz?
Not in but thanks for the giveaway!
I Live!

:D

Thanks for the giveaway!
I Live!

I'm one of those who remember this game from its days on the C=64, I never even knew there was a remake!

Games I would like to see updated: This can be a thorny issue, the update may not always improve on the original! There are many, many old games I still enjoy playing on a C=64 emulator, but which could use an update without losing some of their charm? Perhaps "Defender of the Crown" or "Ghostbusters" (although there already is a "GhostControl Inc").

Thank you, IAmSinistar.

EDIT: I just did a quick search, and it appears Defender of the Crown was already remade too, LOL :D!

PaterAlf: Edit: Searching for links, I just found out that there is in fact a Vermeer remake/sequel.

Awesome, thanks for the heads-up! I didn't know about this game, but it looks very interesting. Having the central mechanic of distinguishing original art from forgeries is certainly unique. And as someone who has read a number of books on the subject it appeals to me on those grounds. I will be looking into this one. Just have to check if the publisher (Take-Two Interactive) is one of those on our "don't bother" list.

EDIT: Appears it's already out there. Looks like I have a new purchase ahead. :)

I'd be delighted to have those titles updated a bit:
- The Ancient Art of War
- The Ancient Art of War at Sea
Nicely done! I just bought this, so I do NOT live today

I couldn't pick one old game from my early computing days, so here's a short list of my immediate favorites: Rescue on Fractalus, Stunt Car Racer, Jumpman, Blue Max, Lode Runner, Star Raiders 1+2, and many of the Infocom games

Again, thanks for your efforts in making this classic available to the masses!
I live! Thanks Sinistar!
A game I would to see remade is an underwater shipwreck search game that I don't remember the name of. You start out with little money and no rep. So you're limited on locations and value of wrecks. Using equipment and search techniques you try to locate different wrecks. The climax of it was to have the equipment and experience to locate the Titanic.

The original game had crappy, snowy pics of wrecks, but with more recent views of the Titanic, I'd replay a modern take on it.
I Live!

and I hope to be alive to see an updated version of Lemmings released on PC (since Grim Fandango is already on its way it seems)

Thank you, Sinistar. I Live!

I'd love for Taito's Bubble Bobble to see a revival. It'd be especially great to get it and Rainbow Islands on GOG.

Great work getting 7 Cities onto GOG. I'm thoroughly impressed.
I Live! Again!

Love blood hehe, this is sweet mate!! I didn't know about this game at all, it looks like and old school of Expeditions Conquistadors, I'll definitely join this looks awesome!!

I'd love to see an updated, enhanced and legal version of System Shock, as I don't think the Portable one it is, but atleast is something, also if it would be brought to GOG with some freebies on the side that would be fantastic, one can dream right?

Thanks for this incredible giveaway mate!

What I really would like to see is

a) a remake of Frontier (Elite 2 or First Encounters). Elite Dangerous looks different and will not even have planetary landings. All I need is a graphic update (FSCP-level would be enough for me) and a few fixed.

b) a remake of Master of Magic. The exact same game with better graphics and AI. And maybe more enemies on larger maps.
