Nice idea, I'm in!

Most happy to have got because it suprised me: Eador:Genesis...yes this came out of nowhere and now after probably a thousand hours , I think it's the best game I have ever played in my 25 years career. All for 3,50 on release day and made by one dude. Never thought this was possible.

Would like to try: Smugglers V, because I like business sims.
Thanks, I'm in :)

The first Gabriel Knight was a game I really want to try, so I was happy when I obtained it here on GOG.

Now I really want Police Quest 1-4, because it's the only Sierra franchise I never played.

Not in but thanks for the giveaway!
I had always wanted to play Slave Zero again. When GOG got it a couple months ago it was great! It's a really fun cyberpunk mech game.

But now a game I really want to try out on GOG is Banished. It looks like a really interesting building/survival game!
Grim Fandango.

Then, I woke up.
I just recently purchased Psychonauts. Because this game was never translated for Japanese users on a console, I could never play it until I had a chance to buy it for cheap on GOG. It totally surpassed my expectations! I love the way the Schafe incorporated adventure game-type plot progression and cooky characters into a platforming shell and how much he completely made things like a Rare-style collect-a-thon something worthwhile with things like the emotional baggage or cobwebs and figments and Psychonaut ranks, not to mention the wild creativity of the levels and the generally tight controls, which are surprising coming from an adventure game creator. Totally surpassed my expectations, because I just expected a nice, original platformer, something around the quality of an early Naughty Dog platformer okay, but not outstanding. It was 10 years too late to be of much use to Double Fine's health, but I find it was way better late than never.

Speaking of better late than never, my early 2000s computer could barely run Neverwinter Nights and Divine Divinity, so I gave up on anything more advanced than Lionheart (ew) and Temple of Elemental Evil, which I could never get to run on my computer years ago. Now that GOG is around and I can actually access worldwide games from my location and I have a laptop than can run most modern games from the last few years, I'm really eager to try Neverwinter Nights 2, because I've head great things about it and I heard Chris Avellone worked on it in some capacity (Mask of the Betrayer, or something?) and I lurv me some Planescape: Torment. I hope one day I get to play it soon, but so far no luck on a sale that puts it into my PayPal range.

Edit: Reading through this thread again, it seems like you don't have to say "I'm in" to be in. Just to let IAmSinistar know, I just wanted to participate in the conversation, not posting for the free game chance. I'm blessed enough as it is. I think I'll have to watch out for that in future threads!

Thank you IAmSinistar! I wish you many years of goging and gaming!
My most wanted game on gog was (of course) Deus Ex. Patched with the NewVision mod, I did a 4th playthrough and still I found new plot twists and new dialogs and new scenario options. It is a great game.
The game I really want to try again is UFO aftermath.
Thanks to GOG, I discovered the Blackwell series. I bought them during a sale without expecting much, not knowing that they would quickly become some of my absolute favourites in the genre!
This has happened with many other games, like Volgarr the Viking or The Witcher!

A game that I always wanted to try -but never did, for a reason or another- is Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. I always found the artstyle quite charming in its weirdness and I keep hearing it has great gameplay... sooner or later I will pick it up.
It's so weird because it seems like you've been around here a lot longer than just a year! Then again, I haven't been super active on the forums for too much longer than a year myself. Well, I really can't imagine this place without you, for everything you do for all of we should be giving you games.

Personally, I have every game that I really want here already, except Sanitarium, but I'll get that on sale eventually. In the meantime I have tons and tons of backlog.

The games that I was most excited to get my hands on were the Infinity Engine and Fallout games, for nostalgic reasons alone. However, I had never played through Planescape: Torment in my youth, and I'm actually glad that it took me until I was almost 30 to play it, since as a more mature person I was able to get so much more out of it than I would have as a kid. The game forever changed me. I have a thread about it in the PS:T sub-forum so I won't go into detail about it here.

Anyway, not in but +1 again for all your generosity. In the spirit of celebrating the first GOGiversary of many more to come, I'd really like to buy you a game if you'd so let me.
The game that I was happiest to get on GOG was King of Dragon Pass because it so immerse.

The game that i most want to try is Paper Sorcerer because it looks like it might be the a great introduction to dungeon crawlers (Or whatever they're called. I mean games like Might and Magic and Ultima Underworld)
Congrats mate.
It's so hard to choose which game I was most happy to buy as I love all games that I've bought here. Still if I have to choose one I'd choose the Witcher, which was actually the first game I've bought here. I've played it before buying it here too, but never completed it. Getting it here and not having to fuss with stuff made me play and complete.
As for the game that I want most here, and waiting for at least a 70% off sale (or let's say the most affordable on that list) is Settlers 2 10th Anniversary as I have fond memories of Settlers 2...
This is a GOGversary we all should celebrate, because the forum has been a better place ever since. So, congratulations to us! :-)

I am not entering the giveaway, but many thanks Sinistar.
The game which turned out to be a pleasant and unexpected surprise for me, believe me or not, is Treasure Adventure Game.

Well, I just so happen to have a code precisely for Smugglers V lying around ! Check you PM and have a good business sim time ! :-)

As for Sinistar, so sorry to meddle in your giveaway-ing business like that. To compensate, I wish you a happy 1st year in GOG anniversary ! :-)

P.S. By the way, not in - I don't feel like abusing your generosity, as-my being quite picky in my gaming purchases( I think at least !)- it seems like the games I want the most for the moment are over the usual $5.99-$9.99 price range.
Congrats on your first year IAmSinistar.

You have had a very busy one:)

Thanks and +1 for another good giveaway!
Happy GOGiversary!

Well here's my story. I accidentally got on GOG during the Christmas sale 2012, after seeing one of the sites listing that : "You can get Duke Nukem 3D for free!". And I thought, "It was fun at the past why not try again?" Registered, got a bunch of games, hmm this is interesting.. And began to inspect the catalog. Hey, it's those guys who made Witcher! When I was in school I read all the books of pan Andrzej Sapkowski and he became for me, one of the giants of the world of fantasy. 2007 .. arrived Witcher .. and took my time and my soul. I saw in the catalog Witcher 2 and instabuy certainly! support these developers now! And away we go! FTL! This gorgeous diamond! And they were followed by many.. Thank god it was a sale. :) My wallet screamed. I studied the catalog and find old friends, who stole thousands of hours - Fallouts, NWN, MOOx, HoMMx, WC series, JA and I don't want to list half of the catalog. : P And of course a great community, I'm not a big believer of social networks and forums, and usually just ran to look at the new releases, but the first sale Insomnia changed my mind. I began to check frequently forum. And the second one inspired me begin to communicate too. Ahem, time to round, TLDR :)

The game I was most happy to get on GOG ... I guess maybe it's Master of Magic. It was not my first game, we had our first PC when I was 6 years old. I suppose It was some of the clones of ZX Spectrum. There were different games, but they are not keen on me. i286, i386, i486 and now it appears! First game in which I drowned, I wade through it, it should be noted that I just started to learn English in school.

From oldies I really would like to try The Longest Journey Maybe it will be my ticket to the world of adventure, who knows..
