The game I was most happy to get would be The Witcher. A friend of mine got me The Witcher 2 during one of the Christmas sales a while ago and, although the game was far too demanding for my computer back then, I decided to buy the original so that I could at least give the series a shot. Back then, I wasn't really too interested in RPGs and mostly just played shooters or platformers as nothing else really appealed me and I didn't feel the need to try out something new. The Witcher is the game which properly got me into role-playing games and the different, but very satisfying, gaming experience which they offer, and it is definitely one of my better purchases on GOG.

The game I would most like to try is Divinity II. I've been having a blast with Divine Divinity so far, among other things, and the sequel also seems like something I would enjoy.

The game that brought me to GOG is still the one that left the strongest overall impression: Papers, Please. Unique gameplay, an emotional rollercoaster given the ethic and moral implications your decisions have, an experience that stays with you - not a pleasant ride given the theme, but one I wouldn't want to miss.

I'm most interested to try at the moment: Another World. As I've mentioned before, it reminds me a lot of Fade to Black, that's mainly why I'd be excited to see if that comparison holds true and the vibe is similar.

I was most happy to receive the Fallout pack that GOG gave away for free before they were taken from the catalog. Three really good classic games at one time and were all on my wishlist. I had only played New Vegas so got to see how this got started.

Both your questions are hard to answer with so many great choices. I was happy to get Heroes 3 again in playable form although Sim City 4 for $5 is right up there too. And I most want to try is still Shadowrun Returns :).

The gog game i've been most happy with so far and played through for the first time two years is Thief Gold. An absolutely well designed stealth game that's now my favorite stealth game of all time above Metal Gear Solid, Tenchu and the like. I was just amazed at how much more open and huge the environments were and how I seemed to have more ways to tackle them. Having to keep an eye on visibility levels, sticking to the darkness and creating your own darkness was quite a feat for a game of its time. The different arrow types like the rope and moss arrows were awesome too. Overall, easily my favorite gog purchase so far.

The game I most want to try? I'd have to go with Arx Fatalis. The whole "drawing magic signs" thing interests me, but i'm not willing to take a full price gamble with a game that may or may not work properly even with the source port mod as i've read about that having mixed results in the forums.

Colin McRae Rally 2005 was the one I was most happy to get on GOG. I really like Rally games and really wanted to try it. I was not disappointed.

The one I really want to try is Thief 2, such a classic series, I want to see the improvements over the first one. :)

My story is about Blood. And my Blood story is the story of why I came to GOG.

I love Horror. Most horror is crap. but good horror is a thing a beauty. I got into film thanks to a horror movie, Hitchcock's Psycho. My love of film has shaped who I am. My love of film helped me decide to become an animator one day. So now I am at art school.
Around 2010 I saw Linkara's review of the dreadful Silent Hill comics. Not being a gamer back then I hadn't heard of horror video games. The idea of a new medium for horror that I hadn't exhausted appealed to me. I gave some games a try.
Bioshock, Portal and Half-Life 2 made a gamer out of me and soon I was playing Doom 3, Clive Barker's Undying, Darkfall 2 and Barrow Hill. As well as other FPS games like Unreal, Halo and Prey.

Up till then I bought my games on disk Then I found a top 40 horror games list and that led me to Blood.
I have a "Pinkie sense" that let me know if I have to read/watch/play something, Blood set off a clackson for me. But disk copies where rare and probably too old for my machine. Then I heard about a site called Good Old Games from Angry Joe. The man being interviewed said they were trying to get System Shock 2, a game I dreamed about being able to play (literally). So I gave them a look. And low and behold they had Blood on sale for less than £5. I'd never even considered downloading a game before. But I decided to give it a shot.

Blood was the first game I bought on GOG (well actually one of a 13 game bundle) and it surpassed my expectations.
People say Blood is a funny game. While it has jokes I can't call it a spoof. Blood has the purest gothic atmosphere I've found in a game. It's simple but detailed sprites and mish-mash of horror tropes ideas and creatures do something that only the best horror does. It invokes a feeling of being halfway between the waking world and the world of nightmares. I've spent many lonely nights getting lost in it's terrifying but strangely sad world. Sometimes with a Stephen King audiobook for company. And it can get pretty frightening when no enemies are around to break the tension.
Plus the game is just plain fun. Caleb's arsenal is one of the best in FPS history. Finding secrets is fun. The level design is never (with one exception) overly complicated (a rarity for the time) and instead of feeling samey like most FPS games then were Blood offers many different environments, often biased on famous works of horror fiction. Each episode has a distinctive feel to it. Enemies come in all sorts of forms, again often biased on classic horror fiction. The Game looks like a horror comic thanks to it's 2D engine. It's a great way to blow of steam when feeling psychotic. It has great gore. And yes, it can be funny at points.

Despite all the hours I've put into Blood I've never finished it. I think I'm saving the last two episodes for something special (I have finished Cryptic passage however). Some games you just don't want to finish.

As for the game I want the most available on GOG? The answer to that is probably Ether One. Not a horror game I know. But an art student the games-as-art "Walking simulator" movement fascinates me. And you've probably guessed that first-person games are my favourite kind. Plus it was recommended to me by JudasIscariot.
If that's too expensive then my second pick would be Harvester >:D

I'd name two games as the ones I was most happy to get on GOG: Obviously The Witcher for its pure awesomeness. And Dust: An Elysian Tale because I never heard of the game before it came to GOG and Dust's great hand drawn graphics and animation as well as very responsive combat system make the game extremely enjoyable.

The game I most want to try at the moment is The Last Federation because it seems to be a very unique game.

One of the games I was most happy to get here was Clive Barker’s Undying. You gifted it to me on october and made my Halloween day just perfect.

As for the game I want to try... I would like to open The Last Door.

Not in, but +1 to you for a great giveaway idea. I'll just toss in that probably what made me most happy wasn't a single game, but when the Infinity Engine games showed up. I pretty much had to change my pants when they were announced.

I'd say the game that originally brought me here was MOO2 since I no longer had a working copy and I've probably only played that thing 1000x I was however thrilled to see Darklands added, and bought it immediately.

I'd probably say I'd be most interested in trying either one of the Pro pinball games (Big Race USA, Timeshock?)

Aarklash Legacy made me very happy and still is since I'm still in the middle of it. I usually play RPG's when they are already a couple years old so its nice to get to one so soon after it came out.
