Wow, thanks, Sinistar! I didn't realise you were so...young. Happy GOGiversary!

The game I've got the most enjoyable hours playing is Deus Ex, and I haven't even finished it yet.
The game I most wanted to try is Baldur's Gate 2, mostly because of all the praise it gets here.
Not in but congratulations!

I discovered GOG looking to play Tomb Raider in WIndows 7 64 bit, so I was glad to find that.
System Shock 2 was a good surprise too.
Happy GOGiversary! (Only a year? It feels like you've been here longer.) Congrats, and awesome PeeWee reference!

I would feel rude not to enter for such an occasion. So I'm in.
There have been some great games I've discovered here, but I think the one that I've been the most happy with is System Shock 2. I had played the demo about a decade ago and liked it, but couldn't find a cheap copy anywhere. So I sat and waited for a digital release... Then waited more, and a little more... and it came! And it actually exceeded my own hype! It is now one of my favorite games ever.

Since it was released on GOG, I've been wanting to try Slave Zero. The idea of being 60' tall and crushing everything just sounds too fun :)

Thanks for the giveeaway, and I hope you have many more GOGiversaries!

Happy Birthday Sinistar ! +1

Thank you for this short GA (Quelle bonne idée !)

Bloodrayne was the game I was the most happy to buy on GOG ! I played the demo several years ago in 2007 and I found the game so fun (to cut Nazis in little pieces, so relaxing) and the character of Rayne very charismatic, badass and sexy (much more than Lara Croft).
Unfortunately, I never found the game in stores and it was too much expensive on Ebay or other websites. Besides, some people had issues during the installation because of an error on manufactured discs, so I gave up...
I found it on GOG with goodies and it was my first game bought here.

I really would like to try Fahrenheit, because I saw some gameplay videos and It looks like "24" (the TV show) with split-screens and a complex conspiracy (I don't know simple conspiracy tbh).

Thank you again !

Happy Anniversary and thanks for sharing with the community.

I was very glad when I discovered that Gog would enable me to again enjoy Master of Magic, my fav game from those days. I enjoyed so many late nights with it that I was late to work a lot...ugh.

What I look forward to trying is Neverwinter Nights 2. NWN1 is way too good to pass up 2. Unfortunately its price point is on the high end so a more realistic choice may be Original War.
Very nice!!

Not in, but sure am glad you are here :)

Unsure as to what game I have been most glad to have received so far from GOG as there are many yet to still be played. So far I have been impressed with Driftmoon and Hitman 2.

Game(s) I am looking forward to getting are NWN 1&2 and Icewind Dale complete series.

Peace All!
Happy anniversary!

The game I was most happy to get...I'll say Chronicles of Riddick, because I had given away my Xbox copy as a gift and it was really nice to finally get a PC version w/expansion in my GOG account. I really love that game - I remember telling people it was my game of the year pick over Halo 2 and they would all act like I had lost my mind because Halo. I still stand by my view :p

Game I most I want to try...I generally favor classics on GOG - because that's mostly what I think the site is best for - but I've been really curious about Volgarr the Viking lately. Some old-fashioned twitchy action-platforming sounds good right now.
I'm in!

Game most happy to have got:

Tie between Another World, Broken Age, and Beyond Good and Evil: The first for its graphics, the second for its loveliness, and the third for sheer awesomeness.

The game I would like to try would be bad mojo, because it's got bugs... The good kind!

I also would like to try among the sleep, because it is brilliant.

Taking part in nmillar's secret Santa thread is always rewarding, both in terms of giving and receiving. This past year I received Rogue Legacy which I had heard good things about but isn't exactly my usual kind of game. But boy, is it fun and validated everything i had heard and read about it. So for multiple reasons, its the one (among many) I've been happy to get on GOG, either thru purchase or as a gift.

As for one I'd like to play, Battle Worlds Kronos is the one. I know its been on sale lately but I never caught it during Insomnia days when it was at its lowest sale price.

Happy gog-versary to you and thanks for the chance.
Best wishes to you, IAmSinistar! :-)

I was the most happy when LBA 1&2 arrived. I literally jumped on a couch because of my hapiness!

LBA games are the mark of my childhood. When I got my first PC in 1997 I had LBA 1 preinstalled on it (along with The Settlers 2) by the guy who put it together. I knew only few words in English, no adventure games expirience and half an hour per day to play (yup, my mom was very strict back then, she knew what computers might make of me :P). And I sunk, I sunk into the game, story, Twinsen's world.

For years (I had my Pentium 133mHz for few years) I've been enjoying the first few acts of a game, as I was too unexperienced in gaming in general to progress. Anyway it wasn't any obstacle, I was in love with LBA (and few years later in LBA 2 as well) and it's world.

So when LBA on GOG showed up my dreams came true, I was finally able to enjoy whole story and I completed both of them in few months' time. I get back to them regularly, they're masterpieces of their genre.

I'm in for Ether One Deluxe (I know, a tough one!) :-) Big cheers!

EDIT: I forgot to write why I'd like to try the most. I've been looking at Ether One since the release day and I think this game would fit my mood perfectly. Lately I'm spending more time with gentle and subtle titles which allow me to blend into the story calmly. Why Deluxe version? I'm a huge fan of game soundtracks, and that's what Deluxe version provides :-)

It's so hard to choose which I was happiest to get here at GOG! There are so many, and I was only varying degrees of thrilled each time!

Gah~! How do I choose? OK, maybe I can say that it was the Cognition series. I had won the first episode from Phoenix Online, played it, and then almost cried that I didn't have the rest of the games in the season! I was of course over the moon to get the bundle on sale not long after this ;)

Noooo, all of my games make me so happy!! That's the best answer I can give!

As for the game I most want to play, Dreamfall: The Longest Journey or Chronology would make me JUST as happy as the more-expensive games on my wishlist!

Happy anniversary! I hope you stick around these parts and celebrate many more. Thanks and +1 for your generosity! :)

I'm not in, but here are my answers for the hell of it:

As for the game I was most excited to pick up here, it's a tie between Beyond Good & Evil and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2, as both were favorites of mine from earlier console days, and honestly two of my favorite games of all time.
Oddly enough, of all the games on GOG, the one that makes me the most curious at the moment is one that just arrived, A Story About My Uncle.

In Thank you kindly for your generosity.

The game that I was happiest to get on GOG was Fallout because that was the reason I joined GOG in the first place. But then the Spring Insomnia sale happened and I acquired Shadowrun returns. Having played pen and paper back in the day and my wife played as well...though she is a lot younger than I, so we played in different circles, so naturally we have taught the kids. My wife ( picture the most beautiful tall girl, with long red hair- make her a little prettier and the hair a little longer and the smile a little flirtier) took a bunch of books to the used book trade store and I expected her to come back with a bunch of educational stuff and some old classics for the kids to read. She comes back with Shadowrun and D&D books (that beautiful redhead just became even more attractive no?)

Anyway since then we have taught the kids to play and played a few games. My 12 year old has actually written and run his own episode, which was not half bad. So to get Shadowrun returns DRM free so I can install it on our abundance of PCs was awesome.

As for which game I want to get it is a toss up between Privateer 2 and Master of Orion 1+2. I am leaning towards MoO simply because I have never played them and I have played the first Privateer.
Not in, but congratulations IAmSinistar!

As a side note: The game I was most happy to get through GOG was Legend of Grimrock. I'm a huge fan of RPGs like Eye of the Beholder and Lands of Lore, so playing a modern iteration of those games was pure joy :)
Not in but thanks for the giveaway!

I recently won Amerzone in a giveaway from AnonymousGiftBot and really appreciated it due to this game being on my wishlist. It is next in my list of games to play...can't wait.
