Area 51 was a blast to play in the arcades... but I'm not sure it trumps Paperboy which is one of my favorite Atari games but there are so many.... Did someone say Joust?!?

My favorite Atari game has to be Asteroids. I must have played that for hundreds of hours on my family's old Windows 95 PC. From the list on GOG it would be Blood. Love the gothic Western atmosphere and dark humor, as well as various references to movies and whatnot.

I really don't know all that much about saying stuff about modern publisher Atari, but I played a lot of the 2600 at my grandparent's house and tried to find new games for it when I went to flea markets. Combat, Air & Sea Battle, Activision games like River Raid, even stuff that's pretty generally hated like ET and Pacman.

I would like Outcast, and TA as a runner up.

My favourite Atari game from those available on GOG is Colonization. I still own the floppy disc version (manual and all) somehwere. I still remember the day I bought it and the amount (12000 drachmas)

For all time Atari...tough one, since Microprose belong to them, I would say Star Trek Birth of the Federation, but that would leave outside many many other titles.

My most favorite would be Master of Orion 2. I love TBS games. MOO2 was one of my most played game growing up..

I also find it the best game (1 probably the best) that has something to do with Atari, it's an amazing atmosphere and is one of the best games of my childhood.

If I had to choose my favourite game of mine from Atari (I'm limiting it to the Atari games available on GOG), I would choose "Colonization". It's one of the greatest games from Sid Meier's golden age, and anyone who enjoyed "Civilization", can feel himself at home with "Colonization".
