Valentines day is a day that I despise, not because I am single, but moreso because:

Why do couples need a mandatory day to show affection? A good relationship shouldn't need arbitrary reinforcement. It's not a day about love, It's nothing but a cold, cynical device to make people spend money and/or feel guilty for not doing so.

Of note...
No one has yet entered for The Witcher.

I will now be giving away all 3 games this giveaway due to winning a few games from solving puzzles. Thanks to OldFatGuy and grimwerk for their clever puzzles. The other 2 may not be random. I might give them away to interesting responses. I also may random it, I'll decide in a week.

I am single and have been for 30 years, going on 31 this year so a lot of money saved on flowers or chocolates :P. It is impossible for me to maintain my rep which is randomly between 20-25 due to constant derepping so I'll just thank you for your generosity with this giveaway and +1.

Currently single and not minding it at all. More time for games, forum-browsing, and other hijinks. :p

I think my feelings on Singles Awareness Day can be summarized by the opening scenes of the brilliant film, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

"Random thoughts for Valentine's day, 2004. Today is a holiday invented by greeting card companies to make people feel like crap."

But I don't hold anything against people who do celebrate February 14. If anything, I look forward to highly discounted chocolates at the drugstore/pharmacy in a couple weeks. So I guess that's what it means to me - chocolate! Cheers.

Hahah, thats the best part about Easter too. Wait till after the holiday and get all the chocolate you want for 1/4 the price.

Definitely awaiting discounted chocolate. We are down to the last day. I will be drawing winners probably about 3:30 in the afternoon Eastern U.S. which is GMT +5, so I think that makes it 10:30 am GMT, so that the lucky winner has something to do with his/her lonely and SAD self. No entries yet for The Witcher, for the booby prize, the rep requirement is now 1, don't be negative, don't be zero. I think just making a post gives a +1, so there you go!

I wouldn't mind trying Spelunky ;)

I prefer to think of tomorrow as a discrimination towards the relationshiply impaired. Its an affront, an abomination, an intoleration! And we need Jackie Chiles working on the lawsuit immediately.
