So about a week or two ago I started a giveaway here in celebration of passing the third phase of the selection procedure for a job as an air traffic controller, right? Well, when I wanted to close it this weekend, after I had been very busy training for last Monday and Tuesday, when the fourth phase would be (out of six total, but five and six are the easiest), I couldn't find the thread anymore. Not that it matters much now, because it turns out, I fell just outside the cut and didn't make it to the next phase.

Time for a rush to find a new job and education, because if I don't start studying again, I'll have to pay off my debt, and while I have enough money to finish an education, I don't have enough money to simultaneously support myself. And getting a job has proven hard this last year, except for during the summer holidays, and only on jobs I suck at. :/

This is going to be a stressful two weeks, if not year.

Aww, this sucks. I know that it is very hard to find a good one in the current economy. It just went through the process too and it was long and stressful. So I wish you lots of luck, patience and strength for your job search.

BTW: what kind of traffic controller? If it happens to be train-traffic and you are willing to move to Germany, you could apply with the Deutsche Bahn. They are currently desperately looking for traffic-controllers for the area around Mainz.
