Just now, I mis-clicked the "report as spam" button at the top of a post I downrepped. The report gets sent automatically, without asking if you're sure you want to send it or not.

It's not a big deal, but I kinda feel bad about potentially wasting the time of the person who will be reviewing the spam report. And while I did find the content of the post objectionable, it clearly wasn't spam.

So I don't know, maybe GOG would rather review spam reports sent accidentally than implement a confirmation. Just thought I'd mention it. I'd have felt better if I had been able to cancel the report somehow.

I have no idea, but I've always figured that they probably only look at posts that have been flagged by multiple users.
That way they don't have to bother with some disgruntled idiot who just flags every post made by someone that they don't like.

Just what I figured. I am usually wrong about pretty much everything, though.

That would make sense. Not much point in reviewing posts that have only been flagged once.

It wasn't you, so don't worry about it =P. As for who it was and the reason why I downrepped, that's the kind of discussion I'd be willing to have with the person I downrepped through private messages, if I felt it was worth it.

XD I know it wasn't you, I was just venting. Sorry if that came off as pissy. I actually ended up have a pretty good day, don't know why I'm feeling so argumentative. Maybe I should get the lobotomy everyone is trying to talk me into.
