Joking aside, you certainly may be onto something. I remember reading that e.g. overly empathic people may get mental problems more easily, possibly because they tend to participate in the sorrow of others, and take part of the burden.

Another article claimed that high IQ seems to make many people also prone to depression, maybe they think too much or something, kind of taking the weight of the world on their shoulders. Left-wingers so often do, like that actor who was just arrested in a demonstration.

Actually, most people join the military because it's either get shot in their poor neighboorhood or have a chance to get a free education. Sure, you have your politically-minded folks join in because of patriotism but most people are just doing it to get out of their poverty stricken surroundings. There are videos where you see recruiters targeting poorer schools because they know that all they have to do is tell people they get a signup bonus and they'll agree.

I find you both negative and yet naive, well maybe, I'm not sure how I would describe it. I have to ask though, what would be the point of those cultural works without us? Do you reckon anything else in the world cares about our cultural works, as cultural works? If we where go, those cultural works would immediately lose their value, I would go so far as to say they would cease to be cultural works. So that leaves us with the rather naive thought that something will come along, something better than use (I mean you wouldn't want to world to be taken over by something just as shitty or worse than use right), that will actually give a damn about our cultural works, you know before they are reduced to nothing but dust.

That is both negative and yet crazily optimistic.

Fine, guess what. Republicans don't pay majority taxes, the wealthy do, BECAUSE THEY CAN AFFORD IT!!!!! The fact that a majority of the wealthy are republican leaning is inconsequential. Liberal's aren't prone to apathy, depression and blah blah blah, that's teenagers, all of them, and the wealthy kids get shit on sometimes as much as they shit on poor kids. Republican's don't join the army, people do. People who like fighting, people who want peace, people who think fighting is the way to change the world, people who get college funding through it and there are many, MANY people in the army who will vote democratic without a second thought.
