I've been trying to decide what to play now that I've finished Dishonored, and I've narrowed it down to two choices: Thief 1 (I've played Thief 2 and a few levels of Thief 1, but never finished it) and Scratches. Yup... two completely different games. But I can't decide between them. So I'd like to hear the opinions of my fellow GOGers.
Halloween is soon upon us, so Scratches would be a good game to play. I found it to be a cozy horror game, the kind that you want to play wrapped in a blanket with a cup of tea in your hand.

So, it's more of a "fun" sort of fright than the Amnesia "this can't be good for my health" fright?

No no no play alone in the dark 1 and a new nightmare :D
Play Lone Survivor at night with headphones on.

Even better. Play Lone Survivor, Dark Fall, and Scratches AT THE SAME TIME. Anyway, I haven't played Scratches, but it's probably better for a Halloween game. Although Thief 1 is good, although I don't like it as much as 2...

Hey, maybe I'll replay Grim Fandango for the Day of The Dead.

Thief. Period.
Scratches. I've not played it, but after playing the Thief series, please choose Scratches.

What you don't like Thief? For shame.

If you had played Scratches you'd probably say "please choose Thief".

I get lost so easily. It's horrendous to try to navigate, especially on Thief 3. And also weapons do hardly any damage. I know it's a stealth game, but the odds are stacked in the enemys favour way too much for my liking.
I played both and...I left Thief at the mage tower XD Too difficult for me,and I HATE mazes. In every games. And Thief is a GIANT maze XD

Scratches aka Super Sloth: The Game XD

Perhaps, lol. At least with Scratches it's a point n click isn't it? Those games can be simple enough to progress through.

Fair enough, to each their own. Both of those are actually reasons why I like 'em (big levels in which you can figure out how to do stuff yourself and being pathetically weak in combat).

Whoever plays through the third level of Thief without nearly wearing brown pants is clearly a liar. Those Zombies are amongst the scariest stuff I've seen in gaming.
