I really have a interest on Netflix because of the sellection of movies and series(Doctor Who,Warehouse 13,Lie To Me) and the price(17 reais).
But I have my doubts about it,so I came here to ask if the service is good and if is worth it to pay for it.
Its great. I don't have cable or satellite. I get all of my television off of Netflix, or the occasional DVD. Im not a movie buff though, so what works for me wont work for all. I have no idea how well the service will work in Brazil, or if you will get the same selection there.
Personally I'd recommend it, though I don't know specifically what you'll have available in your region (because of licensing deals not everything Netflix offers is available everywhere). However, there is a way for you to change your selection to the USA, which could well have a much better selection.

Edit: don't they also have a one month free trial so you can see what they have to offer for yourself and try out the service?

I heard the Matrix movies were actually banned in Brazil. Not because they depict computers taking over the world but rather because they suck.
Only Revolutions sucked.
And the best Doctor was the ninth

Matrix movies? Plural? There was only one Matrix movie and that one was good! (apart from some serious logic errors, but who needs logic in an action movie?)

It was a trilogy. Am I missing a joke or did they not release the other two in Germany?

and I was being silly. I think I harbor resentment because I once had a kid tell me that the Matrix Trilogy was way better than the Star Wars Trilogy. Ever since then I've been known to get kind of pissy about it.

I preferred the Tenth. I know, I know, soo mainstream because almost everyone likes him best. But David Tennant IS awesome! Eccleston was good too, but Tennant just is THE Doctor!
If you watch a lot of television, Netflix is fantastic. I'd subscribe to it if I wasn't completely strapped for cash.
One month free trial should give you a pretty good idea of whether you like the service or not.

Some may say it was a trilogy. I say two and three don't exist. (http://xkcd.com/566/ read the lowest row).
Much like I don't get why some people keep talking about 'the original trilogy' of Star Wars in contrast to some new trilogy. As far as I am concerned Episode I-III never have been screened. There were some movies claiming to be Star Wars, but they sucked so much that they can only be regarded as fraud! ;-)

I guess I'm one of the very few people that liked Reloaded.
And it seems that they have all the Power Rangers seasons.this is great

You can't ignore things that don't exist.

EDIT: As for the topic at hand, I've found the Netflix streaming library to be lacking. Especially compared with the DVD library that costs us the same amount of money. And that the streaming costs the same amount because they're using our money to subsidize expansion.

An no, I'm not bitter.
