I don't care what your opinion is or how you opt to express it, but when you resort to name calling any opinion you have ceases to have any merit. There are a lot of people in here who vehemently disagree with each other and you don't see them doing it.

Im a christian. But I hated Fred Phelps. He made christians look bad. but still, he was a human being, so I can't dance around for his death like you tinye. Okay, maybe just a little.

I can't say I agree or even like the man, but it is sad that he passed away after making a mockery of himself through his strong beliefs. Going from Civil Rights hero to a homophobic religious extremist is a pretty insane move and it would have been nice if he redeemed himself somehow before his passing.

It's good to see I wasn't the only one happy to hear of that asshole's death. Now if the rest of his flock would join him. It would be great to have a bunch of disabled vets go picket his funeral.

Edit: Vets refers to military veterans and not disabled animal doctors, but I am not picky if they feel like picketing too go for it.

If your case, possibly, you do not deserve any stronger criticism than being just about as low or even lower in human compassion than the man whose passing you celebrate.

If what this Phelps believed to be true is so (= divine retribution), surely he shall suffer for it, though never forever I would say.

And I also think that for divine or temporal purposes, you would do better to combat him by being accepting and loving of your fellow men indiscriminantly, and possibly focusing your attention to putting pressure where people are being killed for being Phelps-castaways.
