I just found this today...and I don't know if my vote will still count but I like Tick Tock personally...and if we had another writing contest, I would definitely join! I would have joined this one, but didn't know it was happening :-)

Fenixp: Sort of the point. I would have liked more entries but meh three is a good start. Three solidly enjoyable stories too.
And yes just to clarify unless you explicitly state your vote for a story your post will be ignored as far as votes go.
I really hope someone else picks this up and keeps it going.

I thnk I've finally squeezed all the value out of this story, I impressed the girl I wrote it for (even though she was killed in the first paragraph), I got a distinction for the writing assignment I retooled it for and now got a free game for it! Not a bad result for just over 1000 words
Geez a week without the net! The last time that happened to me, things got so bad I almost went sane! Happily I'd just gotten the animated batman right before I lost the net so I had something to pass the time
