I'm interested in it 'cos it looks like a date simulator but it seems that it is not only that. There's some actual story behind it (I guess). Also, it still has cute girls in it and RPG stats. ^^

I'd love to have it because it looks like a visual novel and dating sim hybrid. I can't resist playing those, and the anime art style seals the deal for me. If it's one thing we need more of, it's these types of games!

I love Japanese VN / RPG style games, and from reading the reviews on GamersGate this one sounds extremely interesting!

Ah, Shira Oka. The oldest game on my GamersGate wishlist. I don't know why it has SecuROM, or why it doesn't seem to go on sale very often, but I sure wouldn't mind winning a copy of that.

I've never really played any games of this sort (Japanese type story adventures, visual novel, etc.) so maybe this is one to try. Maybe I can finally see what the appeal is.

Shira Oka is a wonderful game, mainly because of it's story (obviously) and one neat feature. The game happens in "cycles", meaning once you finish one character storyline (or die, or finish no-one's), you start the game anew. The catch being you keep your character stats (not the skills, but stats) AND you also remember stuff from previous cycle.

For instance, you get one girl's phone number and date her out, stuff like that. You finish the cycle, the game sends you back to the beginning, but if your stat is high (can't remember which) you remember stuff. You actually can call that girl -before- she gives you the number. You also can answer some of their questions with answers you possibly could not know before. They also tend to comment on this.

Didn´t know about this one, after taking a look at it, made me remember a tv drama. Don´t know if you´re into those kind of shows but if you do, you should watch "Proposal Daisakusen" (japanese original) or "Operation Proposal" (korean version) : )
