Im suprised no-ones commented on the wreck of the other MG BGT further back in the garage, I find that when I look at that pic or in the garage its there... taunting me.

Oooh, I couldn't find anything myself. But damn, that's a beauty!
Dirty cow just blew three of 4 sparkplugs, how is that possible?

Funny you should link there. When I was a child my dad got his hands on a Frog-eye Sprite (although I don't remember which version -- either Mark 2 or 3) and spent a couple of years stripping it down and fully restoring it to all its open-top splendor.

He kept it for a year or so and then sold it to a couple of Germans who used it for races.

He restored a fair few other cars since then until around 2003 when he decided to build a Robin Hood kit-car instead. Although he replaced the front with a "Lotus 7" emblem as the models are surprisingly similar. It was also one of the last kit-cars to be built in the UK that didn't require a Q plate (or whatever the current equivalent is).

reaver894: As a few of you may know I like my classic cars. my latest one was bought as a non-working to be scrapped POS.
It has some screwy engine issues and does not match up any wiring loom in any of the owners manuals
Today I stripped out around 70 meters of cable 50 of which didn't seem to go anywhere and the other 20 I replaced.
Low and behold I start the ignition expecting nothing as had been the case previously but this time it splutters into life and a plume of thick black smoke and gunk comes out the exhaust forcing me to vacate the garage.

I guess this is what being a parent is like I have a new-born baby to look after. (clean, strip-down and restore)

Anyway here's the newest addition to my family

PS sorry about the image quality its a 5mp camera.
Are you on GOG PM? I'd really love to ask you about some resources.
