What a waste. Those G-series keyboards were special. (I'm using a G11, original, not the new crappier G11.)
Btw was it the orange new(ish) G15 or the bigger and better original one?

Ahh, what a shame... I have a G15, the blue (original) one and I'm soo happy with it !!
Too bad about your loss!
I have a G15 (original), but the Enter Key only works sporadically, so it is packed away and I am using a Saitek red backlit keyboard. Not as nice but I can do hard returns! :o)

2she was a good keyboard and i will miss her

Don't give up! Take her apart and let her dry in the sun a few days. Some people in classic computing community actually clean their keyboards by putting them in a dish washer.
Judging from your post, it's already mostly working.

I may love my G15 gen2 but not goingto stop me getting a G19 soon-ish.
The G13 appealed also but I talked myself out of it... I really don't need it, have desk space for it and will miss all my lovely number keys.

Snicker, he's a doctor, not a miracle worker!

i wouldnt call that mostly working
I have a G11, though I probably should have bought something else as I realised I don't actually have much use for the crapload of G-buttons (18 buttons and 3 modes, so 54 functions total).
The best keyboard I've ever used is the old IBM Model M though. Pity the 3 I have are too old to have a windows button, and modern copies cost an arm and a leg at least, not to mention that they're difficult to find.

Well I bought a horrible el-cheapo keyboard, and I miss my G15 already. Ill have to buy a G19 some time soon ;_:
at least now I can play C&C4 beta I got a beta pass for :o ... for the record, I hate it XD
My Razer Lycosa Mirror worked like a charm until the keys started falling off, however that was after two years of pounding on it (TF2 really would make me angry sometimes).
So if anyone is looking for a nice gaming keyboard, I would recommend the Razer Lycosa. All their products are good actually, I have the Copperhead mouse, very nice piece of technology, that is until I tripped on the ungodly long wire and it got pulled from the computer, flung across the room, and broke.

I use a Krait (having a billion and a half buttons on the side of a mouse isn't my idea of technology) and it's really good. And I love the orange light on the side.
And my nerd inner self says that it's actually supposed to be titled "He's dead, Jim", not she. McCoy would murder you if he knew about that.

I used them for years (until 2005 or so) until I bought a new computer and decided to upgrade my keyboard. The poor old M was suffering from a serious case of loose keys, so I decided to finally let her rest in peace. Those M boards were good and didn't have any useless extra keys you would never use anyways.
As for the mouse, I am currently using my old MX518. It may be a bit old but it's the best gaming mouse IMO. It's a classic and I love it.
