That looked incredible, but if its MP only that's a dirty damn shame... Skipped for me.. i hate MP with an undying passion... to many people with something to prove instead of having fun...

Is this a steam only game? acare84, what hardware are you running this on and how is the performance? :)

Seems to me like it will be Steam only, seeing as it takes advantage of a lot of Steam features.

Yes, it will be Steam only game and using Steamworks, devs want to add achievements to game but it will be in future not on relase date. My computer is Intel Core 2 Quad 2.66 GHz, 512 MB Nvidia 9800 GTX+, 6 GB RAM. I can play game 30 50 fps on medium settings. In high texture settings you need at least 768 MB video memory.

I can max that easy, with my GTX 295. :P
It's DX10, which is kind of stupid because there are those who still use XP who would love to try this game out, even if it was just in DX9.

Finally, Quad-core support is building up. Gonna fail hard at this game with my E6750 and 8800GT.

Aye, that jab wasn't aimed at you, it was at XP users. I wonder if they used Windows 95 in 2003? It was 8 years old then, just like XP is now.

Well, I still have XP on my laptop (it's in the running for Worst Computer Ever) because I seriously doubt 7 or Vista will run on it. Then again, it's more of the thing I have for the sake of having a portable computer, not for gaming, though I'm thinking of replacing it and getting a MacBook Pro this Christmas. XP isn't a bad OS, in fact up till 7 came out, I'd say it was the best OS that Microsoft ever made.

Just received an email from Futuremark offering a 25% discount on this. However since it is a Steam exclusive and DX10 only that gives me 2 reasons to get the barge pole out (won't touch anything requiring online activation and don't plan to move on from Win2K/XP).
Given that <span class="podkreslenie">Steam's own hardware survey</span> shows only 40% of systems being DX10 capable (with another 30% being Vista refuseniks with DX10-capable cards running XP) going DX10-only seens a rather "daring" choice.

I don't know for sure, but maybe that is related to the previous choice of futuremark, to develop Vantage exclusive for DX10, then it floped...and they got stuck with their DX10 development.
I agree that DX9 should be available and a little singleplayer wouldn't hurt.
