Since you're from Brazil, I'll just list one band:

Sepultura!!!
I'm a big fan of Electronic and Techno music myself

Some games have brilliant soundtracks, one of my favourite ones is Gradius V

Hitoshi Sakimoto is a genius

For the most part I listen to a ton of David Bowie and similar things to that. Iggy pop, Joy Division, and Twin Shadow. I also listen to a good amount of Japanese music as long as it sounds cool, really as long as the music has a nice beat I can enjoy it.

After some consideration I decided to go with this nice cover:

My favorite musician right now is Kimbra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBxmidwDy2Y&feature=branded).

She's from New Zeland, which is pretty cool. And if you've heard Gotye's song, "Somebody That I Used to Know" she is the one who sings the female part on that.

edit: Also, I almost forgot! Happy birthday to you! I hope you have a great day, even if it is a boring old Monday. :D

Electronic music, mostly ambient, but I am picky and don't like the "noisy" and repetitive stuff, it must be relaxing and give me that strange feeling that I like. Here's some tracks so you can see if you like:
