My mother has been playing Deponia for a couple of hours on her Mac , and came across a gamebreaking bug (The famous unclosable dialog box)

Then I hear "A new beginning" Mac version has some major issues ???

I mean please don't release a product if it's not optimized for the system.
Now I'm gonna have to download Deponia all over again on my PC to get past the bug (And I have very limited internet download quota in my country, so it's gonna have to wait next month ?)
It's a bug, it's not like they had a meeting where they said "hey let's break our game and piss off N0x0ss". Daedalic sucks for several reasons but forcing you to redownload a game isn't one of them.

Bugs happen.
Did you try that workaround? http://steamcommunity.com/app/214340/discussions/0/864947044776583038/?l=russian#c864951657925518534
I saw some bug.. I mean it was a little thing but subtitles were a bit german even though they should not.

For shame, Daedalic Entertainment!

I'm not familiar with them. What exavtly have they done wrong?

They haven't really done anything wrong. I've just never enjoyed any of their games. I'm employing hyperbole in my usual fashion.

Also they somehow - I have no idea how - stole the credit for the development of Gemini Rue in the UK retail release.

Really? Not distribution, they're actually listed as the developer?

Well it's just vague. They have three logos on it, and a lot of people who've spoken to me about it have said "Gemini Rue, you know, the game by the guys who did Deponia?"

They didn't really steal it. I'm just being silly.

Not disagreeing with you but I find this statement amusing since so many MAC gamers would say RELEASE ON MAC AT ALL COSTS!

Releasing a game with minor flaws would be acceptable since there are so few games available on mac... but releasing a game with a Gamebreaking Glitch ?? I mean come on !

It clearly shows how they don't even test their games when they convert them to other platforms...

Plus the bug has been reporter a while back and their only official answer was : Play this part of the game on a window based OS, and then move the save file to your Mac.

They should care more about their customers... because I'll probably avoid buying from them in the future without a glitched-free guarantee.

Well, that's impossible, but okay.

Anyway they should definitely patch it, it's a shame.
Tried it, but the menu isn't even available if you're in the dialogue box...
People have said it's not a resolution problem, as the 2 missing answers are simply not here....

By that logic you could claim Wadjet Eye Games stole the credit as well. In fact I've heard more people refer to Gemini Rue as a Wadjet Eye game than a Daedalic one.
