F1ach: Well, it was like a jpg with writing on it, I copy pasted it into my browser and all I got was a google search list. This is what I used, if anyone else can get some mileage out of it they are welcome :)

mysql_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in /nfs/c10/h05/mnt/149815/domains/shadow

There was no code!!!!
i didn't get any error. All i got was a link to steamfaq explaining how to activate a key which i didn't get at the facebook page. After that it was just the "sorry" message. It's cool how they got 5000 likes in an hour with this though :).

Arkose: That's because it's a DOS game. Emulating CD audio is very easy for DOSBox-based games, unlike Windows games, since DOSBox has built-in support for disc images (). You can also migrate your own DOS CD music games to images in the same way using [url=http://www.imgburn.com]ImgBurn or whatever.
Wasn't Quake DOS though? I only got CD audio after downloading a sourceport/cd audio pack thing off the forums.
I know quake got a windows 95 exe though later on.

Mostly yes, the non-accelerated version was DOS only, WinQuake which is pretty much only desirable for the 3d Acceleration that you can use, was Windows though. But, it was released quite a bit after the game as a patch and for the most part, the performance wasn't that great. Plus, the textures were mostly so smoothed out that you lost a lot of it.

Lifthrasil: Yes. And because you cannot 'like' or 'unlike' their page without a Facebook account, you have to make one. I think that 'Facebook-bait' is a quite justified expression here. Sure, you can delete your FB account afterwards, but whatever data you entered will stay with FB 'for evaluation purposes' forever. They don't delete your data when you delete your account.
To be fair they are far worse in their dealings and you can take advantage of it.

1. There are two options when trying to remove an account. One to deactivate the account and the info remains. You can find this option somewhere in your account. And then there is a delete option. Honestly the only way I found that delete option was by using google.com and get the link from there.

2. Another thing to take advantage of: you can (at least one year ago you could) create and account with any email address. They send a confirmation email. But the morons don't wait for the actual confirmation. Happened to me. Someone created an account with my email address. By the time I saw the confirmation email the other guy already had a facebook page setup, with his info, pictures, friends added and everything.

So, it seems they still want to give away some free Wang.

Shadow Warrior Classic Redux is name of the complete set but currently only first classic part, Shadow Warrior Classic (1997) is enabled on Steam. It will be updated, like Megaton Edition started with DOS game before extended to OpenGL port + DOSBox collection. Good news it got native DOS/4GW support so is more stable.

the aiming in this game is ass. I can't seem to point that crosshair on any of the bad guys. I had no problem setting up duke nukem or redneck rampage but this one is just poopy.

Use BMOUSE, check the community forums how to do it.

Now this is funny. Someone from the fanpage staff probably opened app to live with test keys. Several keys were taken. To hide fail, they now claim it was hacking accident. Of course previous post was deleted.
