I know there have been many threads about this game not being released on gog. I decided to make another thread for this game because I am saddened from it's absence and worried that it has been forgotten(by the community and\or gog)!

I never really had a chance to play through too much of Shadow Warrior. At the time, I wasn't too good with the non linear FPS and easily got lost. However after a few (very difficult) levels, I realized that SW is a game I love.

I am aware that 3d realms sells this game on their website but I don't want to risk missing the release of gog. It sells for 10 dollars on 3d realms so it has a worthy price for release on gog. BTW, if this game does get added to gog, please put the expansions in the bonus content so we could never loose those :). Thanks for listening.

That release would make my day, almost bought it several times either on 3drealms or used copy on ebay, but ultimately waiting (and still am) for proper GOG release. Please GOG put a resurrect spell on 3DRealms and make this happen!

I bought a copy there, the main issue with it is that you don't get unlimited downloads of it. But it works and the price is cheap. I'm surprised that 3D Realms hasn't already agreed to it.

Given that some of the other items in the 3D Realms store are here, they may have permission to do so, but haven't yet released it.

I just finished playing the original SW last night, for the first time ever!

I have no idea why I skipped over this when it originally came out... I was a big Duke Nukem fan, and if you're into Duke as well you'll like it too. I love the devious levels and obscure hiding spots for the key/cards and secret areas. I found the game on eBay for $4 last month and couldn't resist. But I'd gladly buy it on GOG if an expansion or two was included.... like the bundles GOG did with Redneck Rampage and Duke Nukem, both using the (same) Build Engine.

I've come close to buying it on the 3DR store too, pity you only get limited downloads. IIRC however, the two expansion packs are available for free over there too.

The game is racist, violent and against women. If it ever gets released here, I will buy one copy at once, so there is at least one less game around to infect the minds of the younglings!
