So,why EVERY damnes single game has a sewer level?Seriously, there is one in EVERY game :l
Is there one also in FIFA 2013?
Of course, it's so easy to design that everyone wants one in their game.
It looks always the same, the path is narrow and tight it's an obvious cost efficient choice for any game developer.
hmm, gives me an idea... does anyone know about "Sewer Tycoon"? If not, I might code it :)

Might be difficult, at least as far as regular "tycoon" games go. The thing is, you don't "run" a sewer like you run, say, a Pizza shop or a railway company. You build it, and then you're done.

On the other hand, you could conceivably make something like a bridge builder game out of the concept. You know, make a series of levels with various housing configurations and differing existing infrastructure that you have to work around (buried power cables, subway tunnels, etc.). Throw in a range of sewer pipes, valves, cisterns and other stuff, give them different prices and limit the player's budget for each level, and you might actually have a fairly interesting puzzle game on your hands.

Don't forget, that there might be a monsoon and all the sewers are flooded, setting the town in danger.

There are a lot of possibilities... might give it a try :)
Technically there's a "Sewer level" in the first Witcher game...

and I don't remember it being bad or boring....

Indeed. It might have to be able to cope with several different test scenarios. You could also have a Super Bowl Sunday scenario, where everybody flushes the toilet simultaneously during half-time.

You could have levels comprising both residential and business districts, which would have different throughput levels at different times of the day.

You could include some sort of sewage treatment facilities, and make requirements for how much pollution is allowed in the sewer system's final output (into nature).

The possibilities are, if not endless, then at least varied.

It's funny, once you sit down and think about it, the most unlikely things could form the basis of some pretty interesting games.
So whats the goal of this thread? for people to list games without sewer levels?

Neverwinter nights 2 (Including ALL xpos)
Darkstone (ALL the alternative dungeons AND NONE is a sewer level)
M&M 8 day of the destoyer
I might be remembering wrong, but i can't remember any sewer level in Morrowind
Fallout New Vegas

I don't play that many RPGs but those are the 1s from the top of my head.

Perhaps because there are no 'levels' in Morrowind :-P But there is a fairly elaborate sewer system under Vivec, with Morag Tong hidden in them.

Not to mention Tribunal, which has got half of it's expansion built around sewer system of Mournhold.

To be fair, the Sewers in Vivec were so huge that it's probably best to call them a "Zone" or a small town in itself, it's like a town underneath a city
Yea i remember it now, im sorry, when stopping those assassins your also through a sewer level, all is coming back now :p
BUT THE OTHER GAMES ARE LEGIT I SWEAR!
After Last Ninja 2 every sewer level was dull and boring. Then my cousin told me sewers don't look like that, and that alligaotors don't roam them. I'm still going through therapy.

I was very dissapointed with the fact that the "Underground zones" underneath the cities in Oblivion and SKyrim were very small

The Sewers in mournhould were like a giant dungeon in itself
