What is going on here? It seems that a lot of other people are having issues too. When I tried to download The Witcher I got a pop-up saying there is a new GoG downloader. I downloaded it (0.9.0.1372) and now whenever I try to add a game to the downloader (Using Explorer) I just get an error page saying that I don't have a program that can run it installed.

Did the sheer number of people trying to get The Witcher 1 and 2 and their free games just break the system?

See whether the downloader is running. It minimizes itself to your system tray, so you have to go looking for it.

If it's not running, launch it, then try the download again.

Sorry, should have mentioned that. I've been doing that. I've been logging into the downloader and minimizing it before I trying to add the game to the downloader.

I don't know what I did, but it is working now.

I don't know what I did, but it is working now.
Glad you got it to work.

There's a caution somewhere about the downloader being slow to start if UAC is enabled. That may have bit you, or maybe it's just Internet Explorer being picky. I've had better luck with the downloader using Firefox and Chrome.
