I feel my drawing ability is beyond scribbles, but lacks any skill or simply being 'good' and it makes it look worse because of it. I'll have to see what I can post though. Perhaps something new, as I've not done anything in a long time.

Romulus is going to come here and put y'all to shame.

Navagon: Thanks, but I didn't win... or get any kind of runner up 'best of the rest' recognition either. *sniff*

I know you didn't win, but I congratulated you anyway, as it is a great-looking pic.

And what about ceemdee?
(Also, I don't think anyone has to be in *shame* in this thread...)

Interesting thread.
I'm actually looking to buy some decent videogame based artwork for my website: www.theigdb.com
If anyone has the time to knock up a couple of pieces for me then I'll more than happily pay a fair price. You can reach me on ross@theigdb.com
Cheers,
Ross

I'm not sure of the legality of cashing in on artwork based on intellectual properties that you don't have the rights to. Anyone can legally make videogame based artwork, but I'm not sure they can legally sell it.

You're completly correct. It would only be with publishers / developers that we already have an agreement in place with.
We wouldn't be able to touch anything with those that we don't currently work with.
Psilocke.jpg is a drawing I did of Psylocke, the Marvel character telepath ninja girl.
Terra.jpg is a pencil drawing with some photoshop effects for the tree leaves in the back and the text. She's a character from one of those forum RPG's about superhero mutants and such.
Hprsie.jpg, elephant.jpg and ronaldinho.jpg are little "sculptures" I made out of tinfoil hershey kisses wrappers. I use Horsie as my avatar on Steam. They're not drawings but I guess they could qualify as artwork.
I've got a bunch more on Photobucket but it's more of the same, mostly pencil drawings of custom characters belonging to other people.

Not drawn by me, a friend of mine did it. The pink haired girl is Rose and and the black haired. Elleanar.
Rose is a Charon, in my story psychopaths who are able to enter the dreams of others. It's acutally a concept of a game I have been worked on since 3 years. Storywise. The plot is based on Freud psychoanalysis and dreeam psycho-philosophy so it's pretty much a psycho thriller like Psychonauts but with a gameplay and combat system similar to Prototype mixed with Devil May Cry 3/Prince of Persia Warrior Within.
Elleanar is the typical cheerful kookie girl who enters Rose's life on a mission she does for some Resistance group for whatever reasons and Rose becomes more and less depended on her survival and needs to protect her. Also, do I need to mention that you face most of the time mind fucked stuff during the whole plot, mechazombies with lazers and biological experimented animals similar to Vivisector just a tip of the ice-berg.

It's odd how my mind thinks exactly the same way no matter how much time has passed. I started reading this thread, without noticing it was a zombie thread and I had already posted in it. As I read the first couple of posts, i thought of posting some of the old drawings I have on photobucket and maybe a short description of each of them... exactly like what I ended up doing five months ago.

The pink haired girl needs more boobs. :)
I like the concept. I had a similar "dream invaders" idea for alien beings who instead of wasting money on resources to make ships and travel through space, they simply enter other people's (from other planets) dreams and eventually manage to exchange bodies with the dreamers, using this method to travel to other planets and ending up with a body suitable to survive the environment and blend in among the population. Then stuff happens, but not inside the dreams. It's more of a "I look human but I'm actually an alien", "yeah, right" sort of story.

I also want to learn how to draw to get some own concepts. Most of my designs are in my head and it pisses me off I can't draw them on simple paper.
Fucking Karma Charger is Watching us.
Oh look a medkit...screw you Coach, I'll be taking that.....WHAT A CHARGER HITTING ME OVER A ROOF TO MY DEATH?
