I personally think Stonekeep is the best of the lot of the ones on sale.

+1
Sacred is trash.
Septerra Core has tragic combat system.
Spellforce is RTS with quests.
Stonekeep is pretty hard, more for hardcore crawlers. Has a lot clishe, but is still better than the others. Just my opinion.
Gonna grab Sacred and Septerra Core from the sale. Thanks for the awesome deals GOG! :)
Great weekend deal. Is Septerra Core a bit like Final Fantasy?

Yes.... kinda.

Each to their own but considering they all are practically from different (sub)genre it's pointless to compare them:
Sacret Gold - action RPG
Septerra Core - JRPG
Spellforce Platinum - RTS/ARPG hybrid
Stonekeep - Dungeon crawler RPG
They are not cream of the GOG.com crop anyway.

cp96alumni: Darn you GOG, you are taking all my spare cash!

Here, here!
Mariah, my stripper "friend", sends GoG her hate. I send my cheers!
I have all of these except for Septerra Core. I remember not being too crazy about the demo when it came out, but it has a metacritic score of 72 so I guess its worth half a hamburger.
Stonekeep is great. If you guys don't have it, get it.
I have Sacret Gold, though I haven''t played it yet.
Spellforce for some reason just don't look like a game I want to play.
Stonekeep, I still have the original CD, though even then I only played like an hour. I am tempted, just not sure I will play the game or not.
Septerra Core interests me because from what I understand is a sci fi RPG, and there are very very few of them. My only problem is how close according to some is to a JRPG. I can't stand them. I can't stand their linearity and endless grinding. :(

Not all that few. :)
I got Septerra Core, it's a bargain for 2.99. Never played it before though but it sounds interesting. Thank you!
Stonekeep is the only one I'm missing. I wasn't going to get it, but so many people are jumping in to say what a good game it is, I guess I should try it... not that it will ever make its way up the backlog.
Thanks for the sale GOG. I am hoping to pick up at least one.
Sacred Gold - Still installs and runs fine from original cd's
Septerra Core - I need to check but I think it too installs and runs fine from original cd's
Spellforce Platinum - Don't have it and need input - How much of an RPG is this title? Does it play more like Heros of MM?
Stonekeep - Already have the GOG Version
Help with Spellforce - Please.
