Tormentfan: Umm... I'm not quite sure what to make of this.
I assume the source is using "billion" as "thousand million" rather than "million million" ("milliard" is "thousand million"), and I converted into USD because that's probably the currency that most people know the conversion rate for, rather than listing GBP, EUR, SEK, and VND.

Tormentfan: No, that he thought my post was worth correcting. :Oo
Hate to break it to you, but... there is no known clone of fifty cent.

There can only be one fiddy.

I see a question, I try to be helpful, and what do I get? Scorn!

I sat next to him on a train (underground/subway) once. I figured he'd heard all the jokes already so I kept my dollar in my pocket.

I knew what you meant, I got it.

But in all honesty my comment was me just messing around and not worth answering, just saw that South Park ep not so long ago and it struck me as 'funny'.. on hindsight I realise it wasn't.

Got another comment for you though.

The Milliard Gargantu-Brain...

Not funny either, just another random fleeting thought.
I was going to make some joke about not caring about Sonic and Crazy Taxi, but then I realized Total War series is currently published by Sega. :(

I certainly hope that if Sega folds or cuts it away, the series finds a new home fast elsewhere. Probably so. Anyway, fortunately the article mentioned Total War series to be one of those they'd concentrate into.

I blame that Asperger fellow for only allowing me to get half the joke.

Roman5: They have published a lot of SHIT but on the other hand, they have put out some quality stuff as well, their Collaboration with Platinumgames resulted in some of the best games this gen and they have finally gotten the Sonic games back on track

They put out more good games this generation than Nintendo, that's for sure
Their PC output is pretty thin other than Total War... what console greats have they released this gen? I loved Alpha Protocol but I know I am in the minority on that one.

I'm still pissed PC never got Condemned 2.
I'm past the point of caring. Not really like they have much exciting to offer these days.
Even a giant name like this, one that makes me all warm and fuzzy inside, has to earn their money the hard way... By putting out something worth purchasing. Someone should remind them.
It is such a shame just how far Sega has fallen, they could have been such a better company. My brother still has his Sega Genesis and a wide library of games. This brings to mind just how much Sega is squandering their previous licenses; Vectorman, Marko, Comix Zone, Ecto the Dolphin. Anybody remember those games?

Does Sega take advantage of these; no. Instead they keep relying on Sonic. I like Sonic, but I think they need to give him a break for a while.

Not to mention the short sighted designs they made in the early 90's: http://adterrasperaspera.com/blog/2006/01/03/the-downfall-of-sega-part-1

I think it's funny you think that shit would really sell today.

What? Those are really good games. For those that don't know here's a playthrough of some of them:

The market when those games were popular was completely different, as was the required audience for success.
Maybe people just need to be reintroduced and those games given a chance in the spotlight. Heck, clearly there is a market for retro games, otherwise this site wouldn't have lasted. Just take a look at the Wii Virtual console.
