So this was that 'secret hush hush something upcoming possibly in the future say no more' news that was vaguely mentioned a while back.
I think I already have all the unreal games. Twice by now. But for those of you who missed out or dismissed them, even the older games hold up rather well for their age and are a good load of fun.

I never played the first Unreal... But I remember it getting an article in the local paper and I remember thinking "It takes 500mb of hard drive? DAMN! That's HUGE!"

Loved unreal when it came out think was my first fps i finished. Would love to see it here although i did buy it on steam a while back so probably wouldnt buy it here but it would still be a great game for gog to sell.

Never played the original Unreal either. I'd be willing to pay $5.99 for it no questions. Any higher might be pushing it though.
Played Unreal2 a while back, but it wasn't that impressive.
Unreal Tournament (the original) on the other hand, totally rocked.

my wager is that it'd be an Unreal Pack having both 1+2 plus expansions? for 9.99 and if they came out with Unreal Tournament GOTY that would be 9.99 as well.

I'd hope that Unreal Tournament (GOTY) would be $5.99, but judging by games like IGI 2 being $9.99 that's more likely :(
I own it already so it's no real issue, but it would be nice to know it was cheap if my disc exploded or something.

The original Unreal was a blast, though I didn't get the whole idea behind the story, and the parts onboard the prison ship creeped me out at points. However, I really like the whole idea of having bots to play with offline. I broke my copy after endless amounts of playing.
The Tournament series is also a blast as well. The most memorable map I would say is Hyperblast. I also owned the original 2k3 (broke) and 2k4 as well. I'm not sure on UT3, as I haven't really checked it out.
I'll probably pick up Unreal 2 once it's on here. :D

Well,
- unreal was 1998. Even with a mission pack i'm not sure 9.99 is justified.
- giants was 2000. $5.99 (as was mdk2, descent3, etc..)
- UT was 2000. $5.99 seems fair.
- IGI2 was 2003. Colin Mcrae was 2005.
All the other $9.99 games are after 2004 (except insane - 2001).
(though unreal, UT and Giants all got average reviews in the 85%-95% range, and IGI2 is around 65%, so who knows...)
I don't know how much content the addons bring, but personally, I'd buy it at $5.99, but not at $9.99. (i don't really care about the addons, its more about trying a famous game that i missed. )

I plan to get Unreal collection from steam someday. (in two months or in a year time. not sure)
but maybe i get only UT1 from gog. I played this game a lot. so many memories.
