tinyE: Of all the things I've lost I miss my mind the most.
Is that a testicular cancer joke?

Wow, I never thought of that.

Gotta add that one to the list! :D

JMich: The SS2 and Chaos Overlords was an Escapist promo it seems, so I think the Escapist did the advertising. But all GOG customers could take advantage of it.
Hmm, so perhaps the ones this week are similarly advertised somewhere else?
I was really hoping GOG would continue discounting The Escapists FPS best of, as they have all been available here so far. I was hoping that Shogo Mobile Armor Division would go on sale last week, but it never did.

Dear Licurg:

I BOUGHT SACRIFICE!

Hope that smooths some of those feathers that TinyE ruffled. ;-)

Boilpoint: This has probably been asked/discussed already, but my searches (which are admittedly bad) didn't turn anything up:

What's the deal with the sale items on GOG with no frontpage headline announcing? It seems like there were different ones on sale last week (SS2 and some others I think?) and this week there's like Theme Hospital, Startopia, Sacrifice and others. Am I just missing the announcements? Is this a new thing that GOG is doing similar to Steam weekly deals?
Yeah you mean the hidden sale where System Shock, Uplink, Chaos Overlords and Gemini Rue were available for half price. It started the same day the "Back to our roots"-News came out. It was called the "Extra Credits Promo", with which I guess GOG wanted to say THANKS to us ;D
I'd posted a nice little advice here.

Thanks, this thread reminded me to pick up Startopia while it's offered on sale. Had it on disc back when and loved it. Terraforming and managing the Bio-deck was my favorite part. A title I can really recommend.

donsanderson: 5 whole minutes and he isn't here yet?

Aemenyn: I think we can conclude that either he died or that everyone in the world owns Sacrifice, fulfilling his lifelong quest.
At least he has a quest! ;P

Boilpoint: I actually got Dungeon Keeper in the giveaway, but didn't get this email. Perhaps my preferences are set different than yours.
