korell: Have to agree with you Kalirion, I think this is something that should go on the front page of GOG. [...]
G-Doc: As soon as we confirmed that there might be problems with the availability of Second Sight we announced it in its own forum
right here. This should be enough of a warning for the people interested in this particular game. Making a big announcement that the game is being pulled might have resulted in quite a buzz and a great spike in sales for us--that's for sure--but we thought it would be in poor taste to scare our users into buying a game. Wouldn't you agree?
Apart from that, as I said earlier--we'll do our best to have it back on our offer as soon as it will be possible. Hopefully, we'll succeed.
EDIT:
Eh, Ninja TET strikes again. ;-)
Well, as has been mentioned, as a potential purchaser, I never would have looked in the games forum for an announcement like that. I even have to force the forum to display, since I don't own the game.
How about a compromise? An email sent out to all users who have a game wishlisted that is having licensing issues.
