Hello everyone,

I have been searching for the name of a game for a very long time now. I used to play this game a long time ago, and I forgot a lot about it.

It was a first person shooter, where you could construct your own vehicles, kind of like in Earth 2160, and you could also take control of your vehicles from a distance. If i'm correct the word steel or metal is in the name of the game, but that might just be my memory playing tricks on me.

If anyone might have any idea of what this game was called, please don't hesitate to say :D/

How did you control your vehicles? Something like C&C: Renegade?

Yhea, you controlled the vehicles like one normally does, with the WASD keys and the mouse for aiming.

It might have been battlezone or uprising 2, although I'm not really sure one of those is the game. I'm gonna check them both out. Thanks!

hugehand: Warzone 2100, Machines or Metal Fatigue?
No, the game was a first person shooter, or at least controlled like one, it was no RTS game. still thanks though.

Maybe you mean Fade to black ?

Or perhaps Shattered steel (they have it on g.o.g)

En tout cas, je te souhaite de retrouver vite fait ton jeu :-) Bonne chance !
DARN, I just wrote a big post, and then pressed cancel ><

It is none of games mentioned above... :(

Also, with constructing your own vehicles, I mean truly constructing. You could choose the wheel base (wheels, tracked, even floating...), what body it had, which weapons were attached, so you could create truly unique vehicles (Or what passed for truly unique back then;) ). Also, you could place buildings, but I'm not really sure, I never really got what I was supposed to be doing when building vehicles.
Also, I think the name of the game had "3D" in it, although i'm yet again not completely sure. The name of the folder it was installed into was different from the name of game, or at least on my pc :p.

@N0x0ss: Thanks! Although I'm Flemmish, not Walloon :p. I still understood what you said though :D

Battlezone?

AdiJager: Battlezone?
Nope, not battlezone :(
You are probably talking about a MechWarrior game. It might also be one of the BattleTech games. Both series are based on the BattleTech universe. You can look at the games at: http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/battletech-universe
Mechwarrior series maybe?

What platform was it on? PC, Playstation, etc. If it was on Sega 32x, maybe Metal Head?
The game was on pc, and I'm sure it wasn't a mechwarrior game. You can't run around outside your mech in a MechWarrior game. This game also featured tanks, fast floating vehicles,... . Still thanks though!
Stealth Combat?
Wargasm? Urban Assault?
