Here's a basic GOG question which I will probably kick myself for once someone answers it:

Is there a way to search the catalogue for only the games you don't already own yet?

I'm checking to see if there is anything I want that isn't a Flash or Daily title before the sale concludes, and this would be the best way to ensure I don't overlook something.

Thanks in advance!

Not anymore, I'm afraid. There used to be a "hide owned games" feature (similar to the one for your game shelf) but it got disabled during some sale and never returned.
At least that's what I remember - I could of course be wrong. ;-)
Check out the work mrkgnao is doing on MaGog. If it doesn't yet do what you want then you can try asking for it :)

Well fudgesticks. Thanks for the answers folks, a shame that the option is no longer around. I'll see if anyone else posts a hacky workaround before marking an answer. +1 to each of you for the help.
Sorry if I'm posting this too late, but it is possible to do so with Magog indeed-you have first to add to the database the games you own-the possibility to use our own tags came just recently BTW- and then use the search filter as shown in the attachment. :-)

Thanks Treasure, I'll read up on how to export my games list and give it a go!
Something I found that made it easier for me was on the community page to just scroll down the list of game forums and any that didn't have a check mark I looked up as sometimes I did own it but maybe it was a series so sometimes it wouldn't register, but that was the fastest way for me to see what games I didn't own without loading a ton of pages, before the sale finishes. The only thing that might slip past then is DLC. Hope that helps Sinistar.
Remove owned games? That's a catalogue gray area.

That would be a good idea if I hadn't already unchecked most of the game forums. :) But otherwise there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

I'm going to mark Treasure's answer as the accepted one, since it technically works the closest to how I'd like it too. I don't have the inclination to go through Magog and mark my 500+ games right now, so it's not for me at this time, but it does work.

Thanks again everyone!

I dunno if you use greasemonkey at all but I very quickly made a greasemonkey script that exports your game shelf to a format that I *think* Magog will understand. Once installed it should add a "Download Data" link at the top of your shelf. You can then download the data and import it to MaGog. Hopefully.

Thanks! I installed the script, but don't see the link to generate my list. Should it be on the regular shelf page? Do I have to restart the browser first?

Hm, it should show up on https://secure.gog.com/account

I attached an image of what it looks like for me. You may need to refresh the page but I don't think you need to restart the browser. You could try it though.

Ah, thanks again. It works at that link, I was going to https://secure.gog.com/account/games/shelf by default. Downloading now, I'll give it a run. Cheers!

EDIT: Worked really well. Just missed a few games, mostly DLCs and multi-part titles like Cognition. I was able to quickly tag those and get a good result set. Nice work!
