DeMignon: I'd love to see a Fallout 2 themed Burlesque with the theme song "A Kiss To Build A Dream On" (Louis Armstrong).

Maybe the audience who'll get it is a bit selected, but isn't it always with anything apart from mainstream sci-fi.
Oh hell yes. I should have thought of that one. There is such an extensive soundtrack to those games you could use.
Could do several acts, NCR themed, raider themed, vault theme... OK my mind has been engulfed with the idea!
This is easily my favourite topic.

Unfortunately, it also the most difficult to choose from topic. I will be picking the winner/winners/honourable mentions very shortly but it's taking longer than I thought because the ideas are too good (damn you all :P )

I will be explaining who won and why and also why certain ideas didn't even though I loved them and they were good. Piccies will be posted to this thread and to the Fb page www.facebook.com/evilmissleele (also the on-stage video) of the routine/routines when it/they finally get(s) performed too, so you can see that your brain space was put to good use ;)

Great, so basically everybody will be a winner!
Thanks Evil Miss Leele, keep up the good work. The belated Christmas gift post on FB was nice and make sure to add one of those "wiggles" (at 3:36) ;-)

Looking fwd to seeing the final costume and routine
Alright, thank you for being so patient, I have finally made up my mind...kinda...maybe...damn...

To start with, thank you for your brain power, the ideas have been brilliant. I wish I had the money, space and time to do ALL of them. There hasn't been a single duff idea, which surprised me, I thought I'd at least be able to wind some people up ;)

On to business, slave girl and most of the more heavily used styles have been eliminated immediately - not because they are not good ideas, just because there are tons of them and I want something new and different. I am that picky. The very, very best are below - there are no prizes for the Honourable Mention category, just bragging rights. If I ever come back and do these I will let you know:

HONOURABLE MENTION CATEGORY

For ideas of utter brilliance that I can't really do in full yet or can only do bits of but loved too much to not potentially add into acts:

From the Facebook entries, Helmut Izaks with the idea of a "Wookie Waltz" and stitching lots of wigs to my bra and knickers...or just not waxing for a while, whichever works. I may try this, but it's specifically Star Wars and so I need a particular audience. Also wigs, many, many wigs.

Also, Robert William Beetham for the word "fallout?" I guess the game (which is great), not bewbs (also great).

Quasebarth for mentioning Blade Runner. Also the characters but mostly just, sod it, I'm not justifying it, Blade Runner is epic. And there is so much in that world that could be used.

Zoltan999 for the saucy purity seal nipple tassel wearing Warhammer 40K picture for inspiration. At the very least, I can use it for bribery at the local Games Workshop but I love the costumes and most parts are not as complex as you'd think, just time consuming. Good taste.

Klingon Fan Dance - I love the idea jcoa, the only issue I have is transporting the Batl'eth to gigs and the potential audience for general use. But I love the idea of a stripping, fan dancing Klingon. :D

skeletonbow I PROMISE YOU I will somehow incorporate the phrase "Eat Photon Bitches" into either a routine or my daily life. I can't do much else with it for audience recognition but I like the guns and costumes and nearly wet myself laughing watching that trailer!

The B-Movie idea is great Sachy and I love the music your link lead me to, but I keep thinking of Sharknado. A B-Movie montage in the future if I have a lot of space, props and time perhaps, for now it's an HM for you, but I like the idea.

System Shock 2's SHODAN as suggested by doccarnby - I so wanted to do this. But the level of props to make it work and the costs to get it perfect (this one means a lot to me) means it's not feasible yet. So it's on the back-burner as a potential for the Burlesque Games in a future year (once I have a pyro licence and projector and the latex and the see-through membrane for the monitor and the leads...). One day.

Metropolis as suggested by Wishbone - exactly the same reasoning as above, I wouldn't want to do this as anything other than a Theatre or competition piece because of the importance of the source material so it has to be perfect. I do, however, salute your taste.

And that is the end of the Honourable Mentions. On to...

THE WINNERS (fear our bragging rights)

There was only going to be one winner. But it was just far too good, I mean seriously too good so there are three. And I feel massively harsh having narrowed it down to that.

Without further ado:

WINNER 1: MRBAX "Tonguetied" from Red Dwarf.

It speaks to me.

WINNER 2: JUSTANOLDGAMER - The Human Popsicle Trope

Which runs nicely into several bits of routines I have, can stand on it's own it different settings and may work with bits of suggestions from other people including...

WINNER 3: DEMIGNON - Fallout 2, "A Kiss To Build A Dream On"

Fantastic game, nice idea to hide nods to the game into a vintage style routine and gorgeous song.

I will be messaging the winners shortly, but it took me two days of swearing and at one point crying in order to pick the winners so thanks again everybody - I'll make sure to keep the thread open and will let you know which routine I'll be doing first. Once it's done I'll link in piccies and vids from the Fb page and Yt channel :D
