I'm happy to joing GOG! Everyone I have seen now are really nice :).

I also made my first purchase and I already love how GOG works! I bought Conquest: Frontier Wars.
Secondly I am planning on getting Space Colony HD!. These 2 games are literally my childhood :)

Edit #1:

So I came to this link: http://www.gog.com/mix/totalbiscuits_definitive_list_of_strategy_games and saw Ground Control 2! It says that I can download it and add to my cart. How does this work? Do I need to buy it or can I download it for free?

It is not free, no. At the moment it is $6 - http://www.gog.com/gamecard/ground_control_2_operation_exodus
Hello and welcome to GOG, hopefully your new favorite site.

If you enjoy strategy games then I would suggest Total Annihilation and Kingdoms.
With Atari putting it's IP under the hammer no-one can be sure if the new owners will continue to sell them. So a precaution is to buy them whilst still available, as they will then remain in your catalog indefinitely, and you can get around to playing them at your leisure.

Profanity: It's GOG these days, not GoG, but seeing as you guys are high all the time - it can be forgiven.
It was ALWAYS GOG! ('old' isn't a word that usually gets a lowercase char - only 'on' and 'of')

Oh and welcome Dutchie OP!

You've been here longer than me, you must remember everyone collectively calling it GoG, until exclusively old wasn't a thing anymore.

Correctness of an abbreviation is irrelevant! Don't you know we're all rebels here.

Welcome, and glad to see you are enjoying the catalogue so far. Allow me to give you the normal schedule for a GOG week.

Mondays are Classic Gem Promos. An older title gets discounted, usually between 50%-70%. Deal lasts 24 hours.
Tuesday and Thursday are release days. At least one title, sometimes more. Usual schedule has been 3 titles per week, with quite a few weeks having 4 titles. We do get an average of one old title per week, though some weeks may appear not to have old titles.
Wednesday are Indie Gem Promos. An indie (or newer) title gets discounted, usually between 50%-75%. Deal lasts 24 hours.
Fridays are weekend promos. Either compant (like the current one) or theme promo. Discounts are usually 50%-75%, depending on company. Some promos will have the higher discount only if completing the promo, others have a higher discount the more items you've bought, while others still have a flat discount for all games in them. Deal lasts a bit less than 4 days.

A bunch of people always called it GoG and a bunch of other people were annoyed and always corrected them, I thought that was still the case, actually, hadn't noticed it changing with GOG declaring they were no longer an acronym!

(I was never that fussed, I was just bored)
