1 and 2 use different versions of D&D rules so no. first one is AD&D 2nd and the second game uses third ed.

nwn and its expansions story arcs are quite different and start at very different points levelwise.

The original games has levels 1-20.

Expansions in order of release:
-Shadows of Undrentide: i think roughly 1-15 (anyways, starts at 1st level)
-Hordes of Underdark: 15-3x (cap at 40).
-Kingmaker 1-15 (i think).

So while you could play the first 2 expansions one after another, its bit difficult to chain main game / king maker without having OP character.

Not pc, but IIRC Golden Sun 2 gives you the option to import your characters from the first game.

I am not sure but I think to recall Shenmue does it, from 1 to 2.

100% certain the Data Hacker games do it, from Initiation to Corruption.
