Well abraham lincoln might be a more serious option, he also plays a part in the sam and max games.
And he seems to be fond of cats, so that is my answer.

It's my account, I mean on each post, somewhere over on the left side, is a reference to a character. Who this character is is the key to the whole puzzle...

Sorry I don't want to say too much as to give it away, perhaps keep on asking questions 20 questions style!

Oops was slightly confused, Duncan is the referenced name but the avatar is from the Beyond Dark Castle in the Ante Room. I've been corrected and the character in BDC is Bryant, his nephew. I had both in B+W.
